Following on from my recent comments…

Following on from my recent comments concerning my new boiler absolutely no problems, but just to confirm it was nothing to do with me not been able to programme the thermostat. Once I'd found a plumber to check the thermostat it was as I'd thought electrical fault was found to be the problem despite been told it couldn't be the problem.
No further comments happy for it be resolved.

Boiler Replacement

First of all, I would like to thank Emma and the surveyor who came to my property for keeping me updated every step of the way in having my boiler replaced.
Mike Parry, was the installer and was a pleasure to have in my home. His work was completed to the highest standard and was throughly respectful of my property. He talked the job through with myself and daughter.

Thanking you all that we’re involved and I would highly recommend Simple Heating Ltd.

Highly recommended

This company was recommended to me and I was very impressed with their customer service. They went above and beyond to help me when I needed an emergency boiler installation 1 week before Christmas. Engineers worked quickly and efficiently. I would personally Highly recommend this company.

First Class

The day before the installation I read a critical review which made me a bit nervous. There is no need to worry if Andrew Macklin is your Corgi Engineer installer.
He was brilliant in the professional and friendly way he carried out the work and in the way he explained everything

Recent experience regarding thi

Recent experience regarding this company boiler fitted in March 21 no problem until we tried to set date and time for thermostat for the boiler to read, nothing at all so we continue to switch on /off manually. Contacted company eventually someone did get back agreed to go through using thermoset, nothing different to first log in. Contacted company again leaving messages 3 weeks later electrician contacted again this time its me that doesn't know how to use thermostat me and 2others. Finally email received Christmas week saying that at no time had they said they would do a 12 mth service, nothing wrong with any electrical wiring, no promise they would come out and finally download how to use and set thermostat if that didn't work try the manufacturer. Simple heating were no closing the case.
At no time was there an expectation that Simple Heating would service the boiler after 12 months or make a journey from Liverpool to Bridlington East Yorkshire to rectify the problem however I did expect to have the problem resolved now I have to find a corgi registered fitter to correct the problem I'm left with.
Finally It doesn't seem to concern the company if a customer is classed as medically vulnerable due to living with cancer, arthritis and chronic lung condition.

I'm sorry to hear your experience with us didn't meet your expectations. We make it a point to help our customers as much as we can and always strive to assist vulnerable households who are in fuel poverty.

As an ECO customer who qualified for a government-funded grant, we have fulfilled our duty to supply and install your household with a new boiler. Configuring the thermostat to your exact needs is a task for the customer to set, I'm afraid (this challenge often occurs when using new technology, for example, when buying a PC or microwave oven, the store will supply the equipment but is cannot support how to use them).

I have spoken to our manager to get a clearer picture of your situation and we are satisfied that the engineer who installed your boiler and Frank (our electrical manager) have booth tried to show you how to programme the thermostat correctly, giving you the option of the manual override for ease of use. If you wish to set times to the thermostat, we advise that you refer to the instruction manual. If you do not have access to a computer, we are happy to print the manual and post it out to you. However, you would have had this given to you on the day of install. It is not possible for our engineers or the Electrical Manager to come out to the property and programme the thermostat for you.


Nevertheless, I am sorry for the delay in our response and appreciate you shouldn't have been waiting for the time you did.

Took up the government 'free' boiler…

Took up the government 'free' boiler scheme - Simple Heating came and installed the boiler - the lads installed the new boiler and took out the old floor standing Ideal Mexico boiler.
The Boiler is working and has had no problems after over 6 months on the positive side.
On the negative side the company wouldn't send anyone out for several other problems after installation day - cracked kitchen tiles, scratched worktop, and the boiler flue outside was abit of a mess also. Plus the system controller is hard to understand even for someone who used to use I/T.
The 'free' boiler wasn't free as it was needed to be moved a fee of over £650 was required and was paid in cash (hmmm) as the card machine wasn't working.

Good morning Ian, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, there is no government funding for moving the boiler which is the reason why you paid a boiler relocation fee.

At the time, our card payment machine wasn’t working and there was the option to pay by bank transfer or cash.

I understand the other issues you raised have been resolved.

Visit from simple heating .paul priest

We had the plumber come out Saturday to do some few minor issues paul priest. He was very professional and nothing was to much trouble did all the jobs but one as did not have the part very tidy and got the jobs done quickly. I would recommend simple heating

simple heating did a great job from start to finish, from the young lady on the phone to the surveyor and the young man Paul Priest who fitted the boiler who was so polite and professional, you would never know that a boiler was taken out and a new one fitted so smoothly'
well done that team.

Gas engineer Paul and his son Connor …

Gas engineer Paul and his son Connor arrived 830 am prompt ,never stopped all day ,served them plenty of brews which they took on the hoof, and completed the job,late afternoon,insisted on cleaning everything and I mean everything, and left me Spick and span,and everything working perfectly,am absolutely delighted,just waiting for electrician now to complete the job, ,and would recommend this team to anyone ,

Great experience

Great experience, Emily from the office kept us well informed on when our boiler would be fitted.
Ian the gas fitter arrived at 8 am on the day , his workmanship is neat and tidy very professional nothing too much trouble, excellent work would recommend them. Thank you Roy and Andrea.

New boiler fitted

Had boiler fitted by Paul. Excellent job. Had electrics done one week later (at our request) Frank arrived and again top class service. Simple Heating kept us up to date every step of the way. Highly recommend.

Boiler replacement.

Had a Worcester Bosch boiler replaced. From first contact to completion there was excellent communication from the company. The engineer arrived at schedule time and worked very efficiently while on my premises, only stopping twice to drink the coffee I had provided. On completion he explained the control system which was completely different to what I had previously.
I was originally asked to make payment in cash on completion but after a phone call a bank transfer was arranged instead. I would reccomend this company to anyone who needs similar work doing.

First class service

Excellent service from initial contact to completed job, Emma in the office has kept me informed every step of the way, and if I had any queries answered them straight away, excellent communication.Paul the engineer has been a diamond, very friendly and professional from start to finish, fitted
the boiler in a professional and tidy manner. Very pleased and exemplary service from all the team at simple heating.

After initially reading some of the…

After initially reading some of the reviews on here I was hesitant to go ahead with my new boiler install, however everything was running smoothly from speaking to office staff and surveyor coming to my property who reassured me that everything would be done to a high standards. The morning of install 2 lovely guys turned up well presented and very friendly, got on with the job and left everything very neat and tidy, was really happy with everything :) would recommend

Disgraceful ….

We contacted this company over 4 months ago with respect an installation of a new boiler.

Since the first contact and speaking with them more than 6 times today they turned round and stated we live too far away, why oh why could we not have been told this during one of my many emails and phone calls to them.

I would honestly question the efficiency of this company.

We understand you may be frustrated about not getting the funding you were expecting and would like to apologise for any hope lost and inconvenience caused.

As Simple Heating is an established partner with the Government’s ECO scheme, we are bound by the everchanging revisions the Government decide to make to the scheme – and after significant investment (which allows us to offer boiler funding as part of our service), we really can appreciate the setback you’ve been presented with.

As a result and for the main part, we are currently unable to offer 100% full funding for our customers (subject to your location, property type, size and benefit type). We are, however, able to offer qualifying customers significant savings by up to 65% through partial funding via the ECO scheme (a new boiler and installation typically costs £2200 - £3500).

Amazing company

Simple heating is such an amazing reliable company that provides such a warm friendly service the technicians are super helpful and the whole company alone were very quick to come out and help us I would definitely recommend this company to anybody who needs a heating service 10/10 I couldn’t fault them thankyou
