The sheets are not breaking down fully…
The sheets are not breaking down fully in washing machine and leaving lots of little pieces across all the washing, which I then have to rewash/ rinse. Also leaving strong (despite being unscented) very unpleasant smell on all the washing and within the machine itself, despite being the unscented sheets, which is very off-putting and has meant more rewashing and rewashing! Furthermore, my whites have turned a horrible yellowy colour. Cleaning the machine makes no difference and filter clear. I'm also following the directions for use as prescribed, so not at all happy. I emailed the company on 28/1/26 and still no reply almost a week later. The smell on my washing and repeatedly in the washing machine is toxic. I've stopped using the sheets and will never use again. Avoid using these at all costs and ruining your washing and machine. Also customer service from the company itself and amazon is atrocious with no response, responsibility taken and still no acceptable compensation/ refund. Total disgrace from 2 shoddy businesses!
The complaint was sent to you at simplelivingeco via your website, but still no reply at the end of February - absolutely atrocious! Very interesting however, that days after I made my complaint to you, I received a generic email stating you were suddenly changing the recipe. Ignoring your customers and complaints from use of your product causing significant issues isn't the way to run a successful business, so good luck with that.

Dear Reporter, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We take all customer concerns seriously, which is why we were surprised to read your review. We have thoroughly checked our email system and can confirm we have not received any correspondence from you dated 28th January or any other date. Had we received your email, we would have responded promptly and worked to resolve your concerns directly.
Regarding the product issues you've described, we'd like to clarify a few points:
Our unscented laundry sheets are fragrance-free and have been successfully used by thousands of customers without the issues you've described. The symptoms you mention—incomplete dissolution, strong odour, and yellowing—are highly unusual and suggest there may be other factors at play, such as water hardness, machine temperature settings, or interaction with residual detergent in your machine.
We also searched our Amazon records thoroughly using the name provided in your review and found no order history, return request, or previous contact from you. This makes it difficult for us to investigate your specific case or offer a resolution.
As a small, family-run business, we stand behind our products and our commitment to customer satisfaction. However, we also believe in fair and respectful communication. We would have welcomed the opportunity to work with you directly to resolve this matter before a public review was posted.
If you did purchase our product and can provide your order details and evidence of your email correspondence, we remain willing to investigate this further. Otherwise, we recommend you contact Amazon directly for any refund matters, as they handle all transaction disputes for marketplace sellers.
We wish you well in finding products that better suit your needs.
Kind regards,
Simple Living Eco team
Great unscented laundry sheets
These unscented laundry sheets work well for me. A box with hundreds in takes up very little space. As there's so little weight and bulk to transport, there's a major carbon saving. Made in the uk too, unlike many other laundry sheets. Easy ordering and quick delivery.

Great product. I ordered the laundry sheets and love them. Made in the UK which was important to me. The sheets are easy to use and you can add more or even tear them in half for smaller loads.

Love the plastic and bulk-free packing
Love the plastic free packing, and the bulk-free packing. These give a good clean, are dead easy and mess free to use, and presumably not at all tempting to children, so there's no "keep way from young children" warnings

Great products and customer service
Regular user of their laundry sheets which are very good. Wasn't sure about trying the scent boosters as quite expensive but well worth it as only need a small amount to give a lovely fragrance.
Great products and customer service.

Great little washing sheets
Great little washing sheets. They get our washing perfectly clean and for heavy stains I just use 2 sheets
Love that there's no plastic in the product or the packaging. I like the slightly scented ones.

Great products!
Ordered the laundry sheets and fragrance boosters. They both work well, and do just what they're supposed to.
The only little problem was that the fragrance boosters were missing from my original order; but the company soon rectified that.
All in all, great products!

Have tried other laundry sheets
Have tried other laundry sheets, but have chosen Simple Living Eco mainly because it is a UK company.
The sheets are fresh smelling, do a wonderful wash, both in the machine and for hand washing.
All the packaging is biodegradable.
A great product
