Great will writing telephone experience
I felt in very good hands when Shane called me to go through arranging my Will. He was very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease immediately with his polite and friendly manner. The appointment took exactly the time that was stated and Shane gave me advice on a few areas I need to deal with and think about for the future.
I would recommend this Company and their straightforward approach.

My case handler Jo discussed everything with me thoroughly today when starting my will, he answered all my questions very efficiently & seemed to be very knowledgeable.
Jo came across very friendly & straight away put me at ease as I sometimes struggle with calls. Jo explained everything step by step & relaid all the details I’d given him during the call extremely accurately at the end, this made me feel more positive & reassured that I was choosing the right company for this service. Lasting powe of attorneys The LPAs sent out to me and my wife are…
The LPAs sent out to me and my wife are copies of the gov.co.uk website forms with a few of our attorneys names and addresses typed in,I think the price we were charged is grossly over the top, 2 thousand pound for 4 LPAs then you still have to register them yourself for £92 each or simpler law would charge near £200 ,my advise is use the gov.co uk website.i would not recommend any of my friends or family to use a law firm to do this type of work this is my personal opinion

Dear Mr Waitt, as you are aware following your posting of this review on 18th June 26, we reached out to you, and you kindly called us back to discuss the issues you raised. On this call we went through the services you purchased from us, which were not simply four Lasting Powers of Attorney, but included two mirror Wills, two Property Protection Trusts, and associated Land Registry work. We have completed this work, which you have subsequently received, as our Homecare Plan Plus. This, at £2,000 is around £850 cheaper than our advertised standard retail prices for the component elements.
All Lasting Powers of Attorney in the UK must be completed on the forms you describe, even those prepared by highly regarded professionals as ourselves. However, by instructing a company such as Simpler Law to complete these documents clients are assured that they are completed accurately and any additional clauses or requests can be added correctly. Also, we hold a £5M professional indemnity insurance policy, to protect our clients should our documents fail. Since our launch ten years ago we have yet to make a claim.
We do not include the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney as standard as many clients prefer to do this themselves, often even waiting until a later date to do so. As professionals we do charge an additional fee over and above the Government payment not only for our time and experience in managing this process, but for monitoring the status of the documents and answering any queries which the Office of the Public Guardian may raise on the behalf of our clients. All our fees are advertised on our website, and as mentioned above we offer special packages to save on our Standard retail Prices.

After researching a lot of companies and solicitors. We decided to go with Simpler Wills.
From start to finish they couldn’t do enough for us. Communication and information was clear and easy to understand. We dealt with ‘Jack’ who was amazing and again explained everything throughly. I would definitely recommend Simpler Wills. Also the fee was reasonable.
