Great little air compressor model no: 05491
Great little air compressor, only used it a couple of times so far. Very quiet and fills tank in less than 2 mins. On the negative side extremely short power cable and a ridiculously short handle for lugging about

machine is good, lack of second guide id bad, mitre guide and rip fence are one and the same unit.
no issues with order, arrived undamaged and was relatively easy to assemble. Miter guide rail needs to be the length of the machine and on some cuts you need both miter and rip fence, you only supply one and rip fence can't be fitted straight

SIP are a class act when it comes to strimmers
This is a quality machine at a good price. Well made and robust with a powerful 4-stroke engine it gets all garden strimming and weed removal jobs quick, clean and easy. I've owned several brands and types of strimmer before but this one is up to the job more than the others. I recently lost cash after paying for a battery powered strimmer from rogue traders Greenworks Tools which they refused to refund so I'm prejudiced against those machines as a result of that theft! However there remains nothing as powerful as an ic engine especially 4-stroke and I doubt batteries will be able to compete for at least another decade. But I still don't understand why we users are still stuck with the ridiculous pull cord mechanism to start them. Surely battery powered starting is the easy solution, whatever size of engine applied. If it means a heavy battery starting unit then make it detachable to make it lighter in use. It's like car drivers still being stuck with the old crank handle to get the engine going - weirdly out-moded in this day and age. That said, the SIP brand is better quality of engine so I've not had starting issues (yet!) but the point still stands: why have this archaic pull string device when battery starters are so obvious?
At the strimmer end I also dislike bump wind operations so for the past several strimmers I've had I just dumped the silly plastic spools and fitted Oregan discs with nylinium strands for both brush cuts and lawn strimming. Much easier to use, no slamming the machine head down time after time, and no cord jamming to worry about. It also saves interchanging the spool for that stupid cutting disc that's not only time-wasting but also is a horrid little tool that easily tangles in tough weed. These nylinium strands last for days of cutting before any wear shows, either from grass or weed cutting.
All of that and I'm pleased with my new SIP machine and hope to get a few years use from it.

Fault quickly resolved
Very helpful staff. I just needed to email proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
They despatched the replacement part very quickly and my welder was soon back in action.

left hand doesn’t know what right hand is doing!! I have email stating hose is guaranteed for 3 months sent by them yesterday, totally contradicting their reply!! 🤡🤡
Purchased a sip PP960/280 pressure washer on 02/03/26 (yes less than 3 months ago) at a cost of £1679.99 from sitebox!
After using it only 3 times the hose has burst and frayed away causing water to spray from the burst when water pressure is applied after contacting SIP I’ve been informed hose is only guaranteed for 3 months but u can order a new one at a cost of £84!!! The hose is less than 3 months old!!! Avoid this company at all costs!!! After service and customer service is appalling!!!!

Yes, accessories are covered by a 3 month warranty period, but only if they are found to have a manufacturing fault and have not been misused.
To clarify, hoses are considered consumable items and, as such, are not covered under warranty, regardless of how long the unit has been owned. The damage presented to us could be a result of the hose being rubbed against something or trapped when the machine has been in use.
By way of comparison, it would be similar to purchasing a car, using it a few times, experiencing a puncture, and expecting the manufacturer to replace the tyre.
The hose supplied with this particular model is a high-quality rubber component, designed to be more robust and durable than lower-cost plastic alternatives. As a result, we rarely receive concerns regarding its performance.
That said, our Customer Service Team, made the decision to supply a replacement hose to you free of charge as a gesture of goodwill.
For this reason, we are disappointed to see this negative feedback regarding our service, as we believe we have acted fairly and been supportive in this instance.
I can confirm that the replacement hose will be dispatched to you, and I hope this resolves the matter to your satisfaction.
