St John Ambulance Cymru provides first aid treatment, training, and transport for communities across Wales. Our vision is simple: for everyone to get the first aid they need, anytime, anywhere. Each year, we train thousands of people across Wales through accredited courses led by qualified trainers. Our wide range of courses include 3 Day First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, mental health first aid, and health & safety training. Whether you're looking to build confidence in a medical emergency or improve safety standards in your workplace, we have a course to meet your needs. We offer workplace first aid training at centres across Wales including Cardiff, Wrexham, Swansea, Newport, Abergele, Bridgend, Abergavenny, Rhayader, and Deeside. Alternatively, we can come to you to deliver bespoke certified training at your workplace for groups of six or more. We work with young people, employees, and communities across Wales to make first aid knowledge accessible to everyone. Our trained volunteers deliver expert first aid cover at a wide range of public events, from sports matches to concerts, helping keep attendees safe. We offer transport services in partnership with the NHS, ensuring safe and reliable care for those who need it. Through our actions, we inspire others leading by example and supporting people to reach their full potential.

Amazing people!
What amazing people there are who give their time free of charge to St John Ambulance! Our son, Tomos, became very poorly during yesterday's Cardiff Half Marathon and the SJA team were truly superb, especially Mia and the doctor named Greg. It takes very special people to volunteer to use their medical skills for free in this way!

I really enjoyed my training day with Sam
I have just completed a day training with Sam. Sam engaged us in all of the training which helped myself take in a lot more information than I have from previous training. The facilities were good and we had enough breaks throughout the day. I would recommend Emergency first aid training with sam.

Belinda made the experience very…
Belinda made the experience very enjoyable and fun. She was attentive and made the course really interesting and enjoyable! Initially a 3 day first aid course didn’t appeal to me, but now I will be looking forward to going back!

Very competent
Very competent, clear and thorough course leader who obviously had many years of experience and was very relatable. She encouraged every member of the group to participate and it was a pleasure to be part of the learning experience.
