I have received several cold calls from this company and today I decided to block the number mid call. This resulted in a voicemail being left, with a "man" calling me a "f***ing c**t". I will be taking this further

I sent loads of items in which was silver and gold given from my grandparents it was just sat in a drawer. I got a phone call telling me what they wanted to buy I agreed.. I ask for all my other items back which I never received! I phoned them back up they couldn’t find them .. stay clear from I’m so upset as could have sold them else where ..

I have never used any service like this. I got a call from Alyssa advising me of the SJMK service. She was polite very informative and answered everything I needed to know. Within a few days my bag arrived and I sent off my unwanted jewellery that was sitting in my drawer doing nothing. Sam called me a few days later with a very generous offer. I accepted and within 1/2 an hour the money was added to my account. Sam was great. He explained it all thoroughly and I wouldn't hesitate to use SJMK again. Highly recommend. Give it a go you won't be disappointed. X

I had a phone from this company asking if I had any unwanted jewellery to sell, the lady on the call was very friendly and informative regarding their service, there was no hard sell, I was pleasantly surprised with the offer I received and the fast payment, would definitely use this company again.

Just had an unsolicited call from this company.
When I asked where she got my number she said they trawl the Internet to find numbers.
This is a lie. I never put my phone number on the net and if any site requests it I will use a fake number. I don't use social media so I am concerned about how they get phone numbers.
The woman was rude and I eventually cut the call.
Be cautious about taking calls from SJMK.

Please be careful. They are now using bullying tactics to get you to send gold and silver back. I received a call and agreed to be sent the pack with no obligation.
I am now receiving messages saying I agreed to a deadline in sending it back and to avoid associated costs I must return it in 5 days time. Some elderly and vulnerable may cave in to this threat and send valuable jewellery back just to appease them.
I did not agree to pay them if I decided not to use the service.

I received a call out of the blue from a polite lady called Emma. She explained the service but unfortunately I am not willing to part with my grandmother's jewellery. The moment I do come across anything broken, I will give this company a call. They seem like a great company, with great knowledge about recycling and the environment, so will give a good price. I have read the other reviews and just want to say that not every cold call is a scam! I am happy I took a moment out of my day to take her call.

Received a call from SJMK to recycle any old jewellery. Alyssa was lovely and explained the process thoroughly and we received the recycling package within a few days, again the instructions were simple and easy to follow. We received a call from Sam a few days after posting our items with an offer which exceeded our expectations and we received the money with a few hours. We received a follow up call from Alyssa to ensure we are satisfied with our offer. Thanks again to Alyssa and Sam, we highly recommend using SJMK.

Excellent service from start to finish, Alyssa and Lynn were very pleasant and helpful they made the process very easy and simple to do. Quick response time from receiving the free return package, after posting goods received a call within 24 hours from Sam who again was very nice and ran through the process, giving us our initial quote, this was more than satisfactory and received funds within an hour, thanks again Alyssa and Sam for an outstanding service that we will use again.

I strive to be fair in my reviews, so I have only deducted one star due to being cold-called. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional throughout the process. The offer I received was reasonable and helped me clear out some unwanted jewellery. It is important to recognise that companies like this operate within the same parameters as others in the industry—scrap value for jewellery is not the same as retail price. In my view, this company is neither better nor worse than any other business offering similar services. If you are seeking quick cash and a hassle-free experience, they provide a service on par with their competitors.

Speedy service, honest valuation in my opinion

June introduced herself and the company to me over the phone. She explained everything very clearly and comprehensively.
The envelope arrived as stated and I sent off my items as directed.
The very next day I had a call from SJMK and I was given a figure. I accepted the figure and the money was in my bank account within 2 hours.
