I worked with this company for several months, clocking nearly 200 hours that were fully documented. Only one month was paid — the rest (May, June, and August) were ignored. They removed me from the project and time-tracking system to cover it up, and now refuse to respond.
They use your time, block you everywhere, and hide behind excuses like “bugs” without providing proof. This is not a company you can trust with your work or money.

We take feedback seriously, but this review is misleading. This engineer worked with the client for nearly a year and was compensated in full throughout that time — thousands of dollars were paid. The issue arose in the final few months, when despite hundreds of hours logged, there was still no functional build of the app. Much of the code submitted appeared auto-generated with little engineering oversight, leaving the client with a broken product and no path to release.
If the work had been high-quality and delivered in good faith, we would have gladly continued the relationship. Unfortunately, the results raised serious concerns, and we cannot allow clients to be left in that position. Our contract is clear: payment is contingent on client satisfaction and client payment. Even so, we covered part of the unpaid time out of our own pocket to resolve the matter professionally.
Once a new engineer was assigned, the codebase was cleaned up and a working build was delivered within a month. Our priority is ensuring clients succeed, and we cannot compromise on professional standards.
I’ve had the opportunity of working with Slashdev as a UI/UX designer, and it’s been a great experience. The variety of projects I’ve been trusted with has allowed me to grow and challenge myself creatively. They have respected my expertise as a designer and treated me as a valued contributor.

I had the experience of working with Slashdev, and regrettably, I have not received my due payment. Despite my multiple attempts to communicate through emails, they have gone unanswered. Specifically, Michael, the CEO at slashdev.io, has not addressed my concerns regarding the outstanding payments.

We always ensure that our engineers are compensated fairly for their work, and we also strive to offer the highest level of service to our clients. It's important to clarify the circumstances under which a payment might be delayed or withheld:
1. If a developer does not track their time accurately and in a timely manner, it can result in us not being able to send the recorded hours to the client. Backfilling time several months after the fact can present challenges.
2. If the work provided is assessed by the client as not meeting their expected standards, and they decide not to compensate for the hours worked.
Your specific case has been carefully reviewed, and after thorough internal discussions, we maintain our stance on the matter. We understand the importance of communication and can assure you that our decision was reached after careful consideration of all factors involved, including discussion with the client.

Slashdev helped me to earn money by doing a remote job for them and the experience was really great it’s been more than 1 year now and I’m really enjoying working with them. They’re really cooperative I’m looking forward to working with Slashdev for many more years 🙏🏻✨
