This firm had me join the ANZ AND ONEPATH CLASS ACTION on behalf of my wife. We spent hours filling in online forms and applications and even gave our bank account details I believe because we were told we would get a share of the proceeds if they won the case. They were successful and won a substantial amount of money. I believe Slater and Gordon were mainly in it for themselves and because of their exorbitant legal fees there was no money left for us! After about 18 months of waiting we got an email from them saying that we were getting less than $10 and that the cost of processing that money was more than it was worth! So thanks guys and girls for absolutely nothing! You have wasted our time and we should sue you for $200 plus court costs… Once again thanks for nothing S and G!!!

The Slater and Gordon legal fees and associated costs were explained clearly from the outset by Sarah and any updates to these for justified additional time and effort were totally transparent and for us to approve and accept. There were no upfront costs, hidden fees, or unexpected charges. All fees owed by usd were deducted from the final settlement, and from our perspective were very fair and reasonable, and in line with the amount of hard work involved for the outcome achieved. Our preconceived idea of how law firms charge and take out of the settlement for their legal services was unfounded in our case.

Ethics slater and Gordon don't even have a moral compass Avoid this firm at all costs and please do not take the add on tv serious, they don't listen they don't help you they don't care they have not your best interests at heart it's all about the money for them if they even get your case that far they need to pack it up and go home no wonder they have internal issues in the company look that up was on the news a few months ago just do your homework on this firm

The People, in particular Raelene Lingham who handled Dads case (Roy Nobbs) with compassion, patience and professionalism, going over and beyond to examine the information, research and put the case forward. This made it so much easier for Dad to work with Raelene over the time period, which went back 60+ years. Our family would like to sincerely thank the team that worked on Dads case.

This is the worst law firm I've ever seen. I absolutely do not recommend them. You'll lose half of the compensation you receive. You'll wait for years and be disappointed. Especially stay away from Joanna Varvarigos. She lies without hesitation for her own benefit.

Laura sibrava has helped me through my workcover claim, navigating thought workcover is tough on its own. If you already feel that achieving justice for what was done to you as a child is difficult, engaging Slater and Gordon may leave you feeling even more disappointed. In my experience, the firm made reassuring promises and emphasized their size and years of experience, giving the impression that everything would be handled professionally and with care. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those assurances.

It often felt as though serious claims were treated like minor matters, with the primary focus being on fees rather than on achieving the best possible outcome for the client. Communication was slow, progress appeared minimal, and when cases took longer than expected, it rarely felt as though meaningful work was being done on them. It took them 4 years when the average time is whithin 12 months. I repeatedly asked them to interview me properly and accept the 4 page statement of events that took place at the time and when I finally demanded that they do this prior to handing any documents to the schools lawyers they then told me that it was to late as they had done that 3 months prior so I was ambushed by them and the other lawyers at a settlement conference with a barrister with no business card who spent 2 hours trying to convince me that I had a weak case and that I should accept 125K down from 1.2M and out of the 125K they wanted 100K in fees. Is this the kind of representation that you want for such a serious case?

Survivors seeking legal representation deserve professionalism, compassion, transparency, and genuine effort. Sadly, that was not the experience I had. They are friendly, very professional, and respond quickly, always being honest about processes and outcomes. They knew the system extremely well and were able to explain everything in simple terms.

I have been dealing with Slater and Gordon Lawyers for over 5 years and found then absolutely amazing to deal with. Nothing is a hassle. Specialising in Veteran's issues makes miltary compensation lawyers Brian Briggs and Pia Annan-Anderson a cut above all others. Being so knowledgeable in the DVA system takes the stress out of claims and being so understanding to the unique needs of Veterans makes a massive difference to the often difficult processes. Hilary Briggs was also amazing and had the day to day conduct of my file and was essential to the outcome achieved.
