Terrible company. I placed an order 3 months ago. It still hasn't shipped. No answer to any email that I sent them.
More than a 100 $ wasted. I will probably make small claim against them.

My husband and I have loved our smart pod!! The coffee tastes just as creamy and bold. & We’ve already saved soo much money by not ordering one use pods.

I have two Nespresso machines in both pod sizes and have been buying coffee from different brands for a long time. So for years I wished I could use the coffee I like- organic, single-sourced, mold-free, etc.- in those machines. It was not possible until I found Smartpodz. It is a wonderful addition to my coffee-making habit. Easy to use, very practical, and saves a lot, not just money but the environment as well. I highly recommend this brand. Their customer service is very responsive and has handled my orders and questions beautifully.

I ordered a Smarpodz but never received it. I have emailed customer service 3 times without receiving a response. This company is a sham!

Just try and return it...I had to take pix, upload videos, go through a 'troubleshooting process, email a bunch of times and get the same request for more pix and video. It didn't work out of the box. So finally they say to return it. There is a $35 shipping fee from the USPS to return it to Canada, I did it for the general principle that despite the barrage of demands for pix, video and explanations was totally absurd. I'd recommend NOT falling for this. Check out other 'off site' reviews, generally poor.

After using the Smartpodz for about 6 months, I love them. My wife and I together drink four cups of coffee each morning. The benefits include the use of a coffee of my choosing. I use Illy's bold roast. I hated the environmental impact of having to dispose of the Nespresso pods - 28 a week. The coffee from the Spartpoz tastes great. I think some of the complaints about water in the used bin may stem from not tightening the top enough or from failing to keep the gaskets (the small rubber bands) in place. I have to clean the bin once or twice a week. It is a quality product.

Shipping is TERRIBLE…product works great…once you are able to receive it…ordered on 5/2/26 and didn’t receive until 5/27/26 when it said 5-8 business days for shipping. Like I said, great product, but they need to step up their shipping!!!!

The refillable smart podz arrived in a completely broken packing. I order 2 sets, one as a present. Well, it will go in the garbage now.
The idea is great. But no matter what coffee brand and grind I use and how I regulate the amount of water used f brewing, coffee is weak. Just a terrible product. It can not be returned.
I lost all my money and bought so many different coffees.
Their return policy shows their expectations and how they have to keep consumers from returning the useless merchandise.
It's absolutely impossible for me to make this work .

Wish i came here first. I bought a pod and waited 2+ weeks and emailed the company. They pushed me to different people for a couple times. Had to confirm that i wanted the product and told them i felt like this was a scam and if i didnt get them in the 6 days (what they told me they could ship it in) i would dispute it with my card service. They said they cancelled the order but have yet to see it on my card. Hope they do better but with the service i experienced i am happy not to do business with them

This is the worst Canadian company I have ever dealt with. Their phone number does not work ever. They do not care about their crap product and will not refund or fix their issues. I ordered my pods weeks ago and no instructions ever came and one of the pods is not made correct and they will not fix the issue. Once you email them no one ever really responds other than they have escalated it to another person and no response ever. Runa away from the this product. Save your money and buy real Nespresso pods. Will be serving them with a small claims claims notice. They are terrible and just ripping people off. Save your money and all the hassle.

I bought these pods and I brew my first cup on my Nespresso machine. When I went to make a second cup, the coffee did not come out. I was getting ready to return them thinking they did not work, but my son who loves to brew coffee told me to use the small plastic coffee measurement it came with and to level it out. I leveled it out with the stick side of the brush that came with the set. He told me to take the tamper and to just sit it on the coffee grounds, not to push it down, so I did. I let it sit on the coffee ground for 10 seconds. I removed it, closed the pod and tried it. The coffee was perfect. I have been following this procedure consistently since and it has not failed. I highly recommend these pods. They really work and the coffee is dark, robost and truly delicious with lots of crema. I use El Morro coffee espresso ground and Illy coffee grounds.

I waited 3 weeks for my order, I contacted them and they said my order had not shipped yet and they would let me know once it did. I waited another 5 days and contacted them requesting a refund, hey said they would escalate my request. I still hadn’t heard anything from them after 5 days. I sent another email and now they aren’t responding. I’m disputing the credit card charge now.

Slow delivery. No instructions whatsoever, either in the box or online. I will say that it looks like a quality system; however, “Full cup” brew produced less coffee than expected and virtually no crema! It wasn’t a very strong cup, either. I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known then what I know now. Very disappointed!

It has almost been a month since I ordered from them and still haven’t received my order. I have tried calling them multiple times and sent them multiple emails and received no response. Save your self the hassle and don’t order from them.

Be careful ordering from this company. They never sent mine, and now they don’t want to give me my $ back. They took the $ immediately and it’s been 3 weeks with no refund!

Fraud! Scam!!! Don’t purchase from smartpodz. They took my money and never delivered after numerous attempts to contact them. I would choose zero stars if that was an option.

I ordered the SmartPodz on Apr 14, and I am still waiting for confirmation of shipment. I have contacted them numerous times, just to be told the order is being filled and I’ll get an email when it has shipped. After reading other review on Trustpilot, I have asked to have my order cancelled and a refund. I do not trust this company. Buyer beware.

Refilling and reusing the Nespresso pods is much easier, safer (heat of stainless when having to remove them quickly after using (per instructions)) and quicker. Not worth the price.

Great option for those who want the Nespresso experience without the premium of official pods. It took a bit to figure out the proper process (don't overstuff or pack tight, just tamp down lightly!), but once I did, we have been able to enjoy our Nespresso Virtuo machine so much more without breaking the bank or adding to significant plastic pod waste!

Being able to use our own coffee with the podz has allowed us to experiment with a wider variety for our daily shots, cappuccini, lattes. Some standard ground coffees really produce wonderful cremas!

We've had ours for over a year and they have stood up to nearly daily use over this timeframe, so they are durable. Cleanup and setup can be a little messy, but so worth the extra effort!

My only gripe past getting the process down initially was that the machine labels (which tell the machine the size - single, double, americano, etc) do wear down to the point that the machine has difficulty reading the barcode and need to be replaced. Finding them on the website was a bit difficult, however now knowing they are available has just greatly extended the anticipated lifespan of our enjoyment of our Nespresso machine with our Smart Podz!
