Product excellent flavor and texture true to it description
The product I purchased has excellent flavor, and consistent in quality.
This last purchase came thawed, not frozen. I am not sure if it was the delivery service causing a delay but I have experienced the problem of not knowing exactly when I will receive the product. It is just not clear however I do try to time my purchase so I may receive within a week.

During warmer months of the year orders are only shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to prevent them from being left in a warehouse over a weekend, delaying transit and allowing extra time for the products to thaw or warm. Your order was shipped as scheduled on Monday the 13th and arrived in the expected two days of transit suffering no delays.

Your order was placed near closing of business on Wednesday the 15th, so it was routed to ship on Monday the 20th. We ship free standard shipping orders on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday during the warmer months to ensure products are not stuck in a warehouse over a weekend, thawing out while not moving.

Orders placed after shipping has closed on Wednesday are routed to ship the following Monday. This is because UPS will leave them sitting in an uncooled warehouse over the weekend, resulting in extended transit that risks the safety of some products during warmer weather.
If needing an order by a specific date, we recommend contacting our service team by phone at 800-705-2323 so they can see if you'll need to upgrade shipping to get it to you sooner.

I was concerned about the delivery…
I was concerned about the delivery timing. I called and spoke to a very nice gentleman that took his time explaining all the shipping information I needed.
I was concerned that the largest size wouldn't be enough to feed 12 people. It was plenty and it was juicy and delicious! It was a very good experience.
