Another Outstanding Experience!!
When it is time for special occasions, holiday meals and gifts, I always turn to Burgers' Smokehouse for a delicious array of choices to consider. Disappointment is never in my vocabulary (but overeating is!!) as the selections are true to description and as delicious as they look in the catalog. Shipping is fast, the box with the prize well packaged for transit, and the tracking is great. Some online retailers talk a good game, but Burgers delivers on every promise!

Easy to order
Easy order and quick delivery. Got my annual smoked turkey. Very delicious and easy to reheat and serve. Always a big hit with the family.

Fast delivery but all ice packs melted
I received my order yesterday and everything was so well packed. Thank goodness it was dry cured because the ice all melted. But I love their pork (bacon,hog jowl,country ham). This time I also ordered the Turkey breast and good thing it was delivered yesterday because it was still cool but all ice packs were all melted. Ups trucks are ovens in Texas this time of year. And with ups there's no customer service with those guys they just grab a box and leave on a hot driveway (depends where it's delivered by what driver is delivering). If the box stated this side up they don't care and puts the box down upside down. Thank you burgers for wonderful smoked meat.

The website is great
The website is great, the smoked bacon is even better. One improvement to the site would be to have a button to "order again" within the order history page. It's not a big deal but I have to look up the product number each time and have mistakenly ordered the wrong product at least once. I would also add a thumbnail image to the orders in history. Overall, great site. Lots of variety.

Delivery
Delivery - should not have to log in to track delivery. Most others automatically connect to the shipper who sends an email. I was out of town and delivery sat for 2 days in hot weather….more modern technology needed.
Customer service only stated that they did their job and delivered within their timeframe and my fault for not logging in to your website to track…..

Think I am done
I was a customer for many years and it used to be really good ham cuts but the last shipment was not the usual quality that I came to expect. The attic aged ham tasted more like sugar cured city ham. I don't believe that $105.00 for 24 (3.5oz.cuts} is a little much for me for the quality I received. I think I'll just forgo the experience.
