Needing a great locksmith for whatever reason can happen to any of us at any time. It can be an expensive business too. I have had the pleasure of having a number of jobs completed by Simon, recently and in the past. Simon is highly-skilled, professional, trustworthy, reliable, polite and I would not even consider using another locksmith. Simon recently changed a number of locks in my house and not all of the jobs were straightforward. Simon was patient and solution-focussed throughout. He also explained everyrhing he needed to do and tested all of the locks before leaving. Simon also cleared up after himself, which was great. In this day and age it can be difficult to find reliable trades people that take pride in their work and charge a fair price for excellent work. Simon is that rare tradeperson. I would highly recommend him without hesitation

I had Simon fitted my new locks in 2022. He did a professional, secured and quality job then, the keys had been working smoothly and no problems at all. This time I needed to fix locks to windows in my home also to upgrade my door locks. I still had Simon’s contact so I contacted him again and though he lives far from my area he came and did the jobs today. I am very pleased with his expertise and knowledge. He replaced most of the window locks with what seemed to me, good quality and firm locks with same keys. My door locks upgraded and Simon explaining how I can order replacement online. I am very pleased with Simon’s work and will share with others. Thank you Simon.

I had to collect my husband from hospital ,the car keys were in the house, I was locked out of my house , a friend recommended Simon, he called called to say he was on his way and arrived within 10 minutes he gained access without damaging the lock, I had slammed the door and the latch had dropped, no damage done and didn't need a new yale, Simon was so professional and helpful, I would recommend his services.

I was locked out because my cylinder on my door failed. He was on another job but made me next priority and still managed to get to me within 30 mins. He was able to get into my flat in a jiffy with minimal damage or fuss, he was upfront with his pricing which was very reasonable and the work was done well.

At very short notice, Simon changed two locks in our rental flat, the outside and the inner door. I've used Simon before on our own home and as usual he was incredibly helpful, very clear and fair on pricing, and did a great job. He's lovely to deal with - highly recommended.

Unfortunately, it came to light I’d been scammed by a 24hr emergency company my neighbour called, when I locked myself out. Thankfully I went with my gut and did not use them for the replacement lock and waited for Simon to be back from his holiday.

I was very happy with Simon. He is courteous and a detailed master locksmith. I had issues with my previous patio cylinder locks, and he gave excellent advice. Came in to measure the cylinder locks to ensure security is not compromised and the lock fits the patio doors perfectly. He is also very punctual and would give advance notice if he is slightly late. I will definitely use SMR again should I need help on any locks. Highly recommended.

Daunting to find a locksmith online with all the scammers out there. SMR was recommended by a friend in the area and true to form their service was professional and all up front before they even came out. Will use them again.

Simon replaced both locks for me in rapid time. Polite, professional, great value, great advice (I went for a Security upgrade), cleaned up afterwards. I'd used Simon a couple years ago and wouldn't hesitate again, great job!

Upv balcony door was jammed. Before arriving I received a full breakdown of costs - from realigning door, to replacing locks. He also provided a clear time window of when he would come over and followed up with a text when on his way. Simon was methodical, professional. Price was reasonable. I would recommend.

I can’t recommend this company highly enough. As well as being polite, friendly and punctual, Simon is clearly someone who takes pride in his work. He did a wonderful job and the new locks look so good that they’re putting the door to shame but I can’t complain about that. He comes highly recommended so I didn’t shop around for quotes but the prices seemed perfectly reasonable to me. I’m a very happy customer.

Quick and efficient - would definitely recommend Simon

I called Simon at 7:30 this morning as I was away from home and had a dog sitter living in our house when he couldn’t get back in with the key he holds for us. I explained the situation to him and that I needed someone to be there within 2 hours when the dog sitter would be back with our keys so simon could work out why the door wasn’t opening. Simon gave me full break down of likely costs to which I said all more than acceptable just please make sure everything is ok! Simon arrived and sorted the problem very quickly, he also diagnosed that the lock had never been installed properly (6 years ago!) and fixed that for us as well!

He was incredibly helpful, very efficient and amazingly affordable for the speed of response and quickness of repair. 100% recommend his services!
