Perfect planning by the professional and experienced Sola team who took great care to incorporate our every wish with the latest appliances and even unusual design aspects.

We would thoroughly recommend Sola Kitchens to anyone wanting a beautiful addition to their house. Excellent value for money too.

The team at the Wigmore Street branch were very helpful and knowledgeable and offered numerous solutions to our space/shape limitations. The showroom is gorgeous and I’d move in if I could as we cannot have such grand designs in our limited space. Thank you for our kitchen Sofia.

I have decided to write a review of Sola Kitchens.
Kitchen ordered in May, this business have a very strange method of luring you in. I explained my budget which we worked with, done a series of design workshops with Rita but you can only see the design in the showroom, you can’t take it home to review or decide further without paying a very large sum deposit. I do feel this process should be reviewed, an option would be to set a smaller fee to cover the designers time.

I went ahead with the deposit and we went into more detailed design, significant costs increases came during this period such as under counter lights etc. where you have no control, the cost is what it is. I will say that Rita is a very good designer but it’s a big commercial exercise and at times felt as though the company was trying to get as much money as possible.

I was committed at this stage so to save some money, I got my own fitters and sources the worktops elsewhere.

The kitchen arrived within the time period given and I can’t fault the quality of the units.

I also had two wall units with specialist glass where the glass didn’t come with the delivery.

It’s been 30 weeks since I ordered the kitchen and I still have no glass for the wall units. The most disappointing part of the process is the customer service, I really feel once they have your deposit the attentiveness of their staff changes.

I have emailed several times regarding the missing glass for the wall units, not once have they reached out to me with an update. I’ve no idea when the glass will arrive or if it will arrive at all. (And this being the most expensive glass I’ve ever come across)

In a nutshell, nice kitchens but too expensive for what they are and customer service needs an awful lot of improving.

We have had a really disappointing experience with Sola.
(1) we didn’t find that they were truly bespoke. They outsource to different manufacturers who have their own limits. (Weirdly also led us to believe the ‘workshop’ was based in Sweden rather than Wiltshire and using it as an excuse for the delay we had (2) they made the design process SOOO complicated and opaque - we constantly had to challenge them over things, which took up so much of our time
(3) we checked several times that they could meet the agreed timeline - in the end they ignored the question as they knew they couldn’t meet it. Which had big disruptions to our build and added cost to us - (4) the kitchen eventually arrived with so (18!) mistakes and missing parts. Again likely due to them outsourcing the manufacturer not bothering to check. Over months later they missing parts arrived, with even more mistakes. And we had to wait again, (5) they don’t fit the kitchens themselves
We would just recommend going elsewhere.
