Ash the technician explained everthing very well for me, when I had problems with the envoy, and sold me the battery I so badly need for my old solar panels

Took a few calls to organise, but once real communication was established with Tom at Solar Daddy everything went pretty smoothly and, although only had the battery for just over a couple of weeks, every thing going pretty well and looking forward to seeing if this is reflected in our FIT payment. Thomas our installation engineer from Solar Daddy worked hard at the installation and, despite one or two problems with my mains box at the house, completed the task expertly. My wife and I even took out a maintenance contract with Solar Daddy for my panels as well as the battery to complete the system!

The call by the maintenance team, in regard to my ASHP exceeded my expectations, in that the overriding issue was swiftly diagnosed and overcome. The company running the original installation provided good "kit", but lousy after-sales service, with no documentation provided, nor a proper commissioning, and they liquidated almost immediately thereafter! It took almost 3 years searching to find Solar Daddy, much to my relief. It transpires that the installers (High Star Energy) may well have failed to use the essential anti-freeze/corrosion inhibitor completely! Thus it is good to have found a viable substitute. Some further work is consequently necessary, and I have already put it in Solar Daddy's capable hands. I would recommend Solar Daddy Group to anyone for sure.

Still waiting and although they have a new manager who told me 2 weeks ago that he would contact me about my Solar panals not working on the next friday he has not phoned me at all. Also although I have phoned many times I never get to speak to Terry the new boss. I have been waiting since October when it stopped working. Every day its not working it costs me money I dont understand why they wont fix it.

The guys who came to our house ,Phil, and John, were really lovely guys. Very helpful, and efficient. Even got us up and running with the app.
Didn't see Thomas, but I'm quite sure he is equally as good. Thanks to Adam for arranging it all for us.

Very unhappy with solar daddy
who fitted a sunsynk battery.
It was installed on 3rd April and has not worked since, now nearly 4 weeks of nothing.
We can't even use power from the solar panels in daylight any more, as the panels are now linked to the faulty battery.
Countless calls and texts, emails and even a long letter of complaint to customer service that is hopeless....
No one contacted us to say this will
be sorted.
The only spark in this fiasco is a call from the original engineer saying he,will come to get it operating. But when, he couldn't say.
We won't pay any more money until it is all working.
This has left us having to pay for electricity during the day putting us well out of pocket.
And very dissolutioned at the name Solar Daddy.

Friendly, professional team installed our wind turbine today - looking forward to seeing it in operation!!

Had an issue with my solar panels and the team from Solar Daddy came out and had my solar panels working again in no time

Adam came and done my survey, he was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Looking forward to having someone who knows what they're doing after having been let down in the past.

I have recently had a wind turbine survey completed by Solar Daddy. Terry & Ed turned up at the agreed time and thoroughly talked me through the process of what the install consisted of and gave me the option to choose where I would prefer the turbine to be mounted. Great service, great company, would recommend!

Saturday 17th August 2024! Still no installation

Yet again solar daddy installation team failed to show. Was promised today would be installation date and that Solar Daddy would ‘upgrade’ from a 7kw to a 9kw wind turbine as a good will gesture….

Another update: again please do not use this company - they do not respond, they do not show up for appointments and now I have received a letter to ask for money to be paid before they re-attend to install the wind turbine…. They only delivered the wind turbine and did not install it because they didn’t have the correct brackets. This is now making my elderly father ill with worry, having to deal with Solar daddy each month chasing and now to have a letter demanding money or they will not proceed is the last straw. You can ring the helpline/customer services and it states’ we will not take full payment until a customer is fully satisfied’ - I am not satisfied please get in touch Solar daddy - after the initial deposit paid in November 2023… you getting 1000, call per day I must be somewhere near the top of the list to get a response by now!

Ash arrived today for my Solar health check
He arrived early and was polite
After completing his work he asked why I hadn’t taken the opportunity to install batteries
I explained about the cost and how money is tight at the moment
He explained there direct debit scheme and that it would be interest free
The best bit was it would be cheaper to purchase it now rather than next year

I recently had my solar panels cleaned by Phil and John from Solar Daddy. They both arrived on time and were friendly and courteous. They explained clearly how they were going to clean the solar panels with the use of a specialist solution. I was very impressed with the results after Phil showed me the before and after photographs. My solar panels are now clean and very shiny and I look forward to experiencing further reductions to my electricity bills. Thank you Phil and John. I would also like to thank Adam (customer service representative) for arranging to have my solar panels cleaned at my convenience. He also contacted me to ensure I was satisfied with the service received. I would highly recommend Solar Daddy to people with solar panels that are in need of regular service and maintenance.
