Jamie was/ is brilliant. Two of us did a half day of private coaching, and were really impressed with Jamie’s approach to teaching. He was able to break down complex concepts and body movements very effectively, which with a bit of practice we were then able to integrate into overall improvements in our riding. It was great how even minor adjustments he was able suggest made major improvements, and we can’t wait to implement it more when we’re out on our bikes. It’s clear he has a lot of experience, and this is complemented by an impressive teaching style (that I would say is quite rare!) that I can imagine can be tailored to all ages and groups.
Had a great time and keen to do some more coaching with him! Highly recommend - worth every penny.

Jamie has single handedly given my son not just confidence on a bike but confidence within himself, achieving something new and building on the skills he learns every session he’s had. He went from wobbly barely riding to confident trail riding in just a handful of sessions. And having been out with Jamie myself today along with my two boys I’ve gone from road rider to enjoying my first trail and feeling like I want to do more of it. It’s really opened up our world now everyone is feeling relaxed and confident on our bikes. My two will definitely be doing more to build on the skills and see where it goes. They are just loving every minute of it.
I have had a few sessions with Jamie now and I feel like it's made a big difference to my riding. Sessions are always such a good atmosphere, I have always felt able to relax and get the most out of a session. The insight Jamie has given into my riding always sends me away with lots to think about and practice, I spend a lot of time watching you tube videos and trying to figure techniques out but having someone from the outside break down exactly what you're doing is infinitely more beneficial and well worth the money! I would definitely recommend South East mountainbiking to anyone looking to improve their riding.
Jamie taught both my daughters to ride, then took them to the next level and taught them trail riding and core mountain biking skills. Oh and he may also have helped a young at heart Dad with cornering and jumping skills…….
