From start to finish, it has been a pleasure having south thames plumbing carry out work in my home.
1. Andrew came to survey and quote for a new central heating system and the installation of a new bathroom (converted from an existed bedroom). He was easy to deal with and after receiving the quote he followed up personally to find out how he could secure the job. After meeting with a few other companies, I just knew ST was the right choice

2. Central heating installation went smoothly and we were guided through radiator choice by Andrew. Absolutely delighted with both the radiators and the ease of the installation - not to mention finally feeling warm!

3. Bathroom - we absolutely love it. Andrew, Dave, Reece and Matt (with a few others) did all the new plumbing, organised a specialist to lay our marble tiles, and went over and above to ensure we got what we wanted (including a 200kg bath up the stairs). They were a pleasure throughout to deal with, very responsive, extremely tidy and we actually miss having them around to chat to!
Andrew and his team will most certainly be top of the list for our future work!

When you wake and find you have no heating and it’s flipping cold outside it really is the worst experience every. What you then need is a company that you can call and they take all the anxiety from you. From my first call I knew I was in good hands. Fall talks with all options and costs given very promptly. Once we had decided what we wanted communication was FABULOUS we had a replacement boiler fitted at a cost that was very favourable. What a team. Arrived on time. We’re extremely clean and so professional at all times. Thanks so much Andrew and Reece. We now have a system in place that we know will is well covered and is now keeping us nice and toasty.

They installed a complete gas central heating including boiler and radiators.
They did an excellent job. Mess was minimised and they were very polite and helpful. They did what they said they would do on time and on cost.

Those with whom I had an annual service contract could not attend to my inoperative boiler for eleven days. I was very impressed with the promptness and efficiency of South Thames Plumbing and Heating who arrived within three hours and dealt with the problem.

ST Plumbing were very organised and efficient when arranging to replace boiler. Options clearly explained and price reflected. The team came back to box in the boiler and did a great job! Boiler works perfectly! Would highly recommend their services.

We have moved to a new property and the boiler decided to broke just in the coldest time. We were really pleased that Andy and the team were able to change our full central heating almost straight away after the initial visit. We are now happy owners of a new house with a working heating

During this recent cold snap we were having problems with our boiler cutting out. South Thames were really prompt to attend our property and work out what the problem was during a very busy time. they managed to get the parts and return to fix it the following day. Their customer service was fantastic and they even called us back several days later to check everything still working well. The repair work was also very reasonably priced.

A fantastic service- swift, professional and courteous throughout. Needed new boiler, pump, thermostat and now everything is working perfectly and my heating is working better than ever before!! Friendly and informative service from Andrew and Dave - highly recommend. Thank you!

SouthThames designed and installed my central heating system five years ago. I have had five years of problem free until 14/02/2021. They were out to me two days later as promised and did a professional job fixing the fault. They have professional and skilled engineers such as Andrew. Serving their customer with friendly attitude and courtesy. The repair was done quickly and cleanly. Here is a company with a customer focus to their business.

During the very cold weather the main living room radiator to my flat was not heating at all. There was also a water leak to the boiler. We had received a South Thames flyer recently so phoned to ask for the price of a new double radiator and possible repair to the boiler leak.

My initial call was around 4 p.m. and incredibly I had an engineer call at 8.30 the following morning. His diagnosis of the radiator was that a flushing of the system would rectify the problem which would be much cheaper than replacement.

Sadly, on opening the combination boiler he identified several areas of rust and furring and allowed me to fully inspect each. There was no pressure on their side but clearly the cost of any potential repairs, even if they could be carried out, would have been considerable so I questioned how much a replacement would be.

Within 3 hours I received a very reasonable quotation for a new boiler with a 10-year warranty. As I agreed to the quote, I received a call asking if they could install the new boiler on the Monday morning, to which I readily agreed. I then received a further call asking if it could be brought forward to the Friday, the day after the call.

The engineers arrived at the agreed time and worked nonstop during the day. The old boiler was decommissioned and removed from site, along with all packing and waste from the new one. The engineers were also polite and left the area spotless.

I won't say I was sceptical but having bled the main radiator and only having minor heat at the margins after, it did seem it was beyond saving, so they could easily have added the cost of replacement to the bill. However, their honest appraisal proved correct and kept costs down.

So, 48 hours after my first enquiry we have a warm flat again. Given the service received and great value for money I will definitely be using South Thames for all future services, needed to keep the warranty valid, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking at having a replacement boiler or repairs carried out to an existing one.
