Spartan Campers Avis 

Just got our fabulous VW campervan from Spartan Campers. We strongly recommend the Company. Joe, Neil and Mark were extremely helpful and informative. The Van conversion is excellent and we can't wait to get out and about. Nothing was too much trouble, even from us needing a lift from the railway station and us endlessly asking too many questions, any emails we sent were replied to promptly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

From the minute we contacted Joe, our experience with Spartan Campers has been amazing. Joe kept in regular contact with us since reserving our van, giving us updates and sending lots of pics!
Our dream has now become a reality and we’re picking our camper up on Wednesday. We are in love with everything, from the two tone colour to the perfect conversion inside. We can’t thank you guys enough, would 10/10 recommend Spartan 😊

We bought our camper back in September (2022) & after much searching for a VW Van & talking/viewing to many other companies in the VW conversion industry ( you know the ones) we knew Spartan were the ones to go with.. We even paid a deposit over the phone without even viewing the van which at the time in production as we were that confident after talking to Joe.
Joe & Gab were excellent throughout the whole process of purchasing the campervan. Joe was excellent in keeping us totally up to date with progression even sending us pictures as the van progressed, which filled the wife full of excitement & confidence. Then once the van was ready for collection the Spartan Team could not have made the fun of picking the van up more easy, showing us how everything worked down to every minor detail.
The van conversion quality itself is excellent, modern, smart & produced at high quality.
I have to also mention the after sales, Spartan have always been excellent in communication when calling or messaging for assistance.
As mentioned we bought the van late Sept 2022 with the plan for many trips in 2023. However we could not wait to start going away and have not stop since picking the van up from Spartan, enjoying many trips throughout the whole of winter, this due to the comfort & warmth of the van, The diesel heater fitted is great & would recommend to anyone & makes good for keeping warm on the colder nights & cold mornings. Sitting with a coffee in the morning, heater on, admiring views, Priceless!!
We have many more trips boked for the year & hope to enjoy many years to come in our van. My dream is to buy a brand new VW Van one day & get the Spartan team to convert, but if not & if when we do look to upgrade/replace the van we will be heading straight back to Spartan!!!

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Joe and the team have done an excellent job in building my beautiful VW Swamper van. I have hired vans in the past from companies, but I can assure you, nothing has come up to the standard of build quality carried out by Spartan. The attention to detail is second to none. There is a personal feel about the business. Nothing is too difficult. Being in Devon, it's a 6hr round trip to Coventry and worth every minute. No pressure sales either, but they don't need to as the quality of the vans sell themselves. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning every time I look at my van. The after sales service is also brilliant. There is not a single bad word I can attribute to Joe and his team. Well done all. About time you opened a site in Exeter Joe!

I got my camper about 3 weeks ago now but thought I would wait until we have been away in it before writing a review. The wife, kids and I are absolutely thrilled with it already having 2 great weekends away! The build and design of the conversion is great, very modern, well built and giving so much room and storage capability. I had a budget to stick too and Joe sourced the van for me. I was worried putting all my trust in a stranger and buying a camper I had never even test drove but the faith in Joe paid off!! He promised he wouldnt put his conversion in a van he wouldnt have himself and it is true. The van drives lovely. There was a slight issue with a diesel heater line which was fixed within 10 minutes by the team without feeling I was an inconvenience to them in the slightest. I also added the awning rail late which they fitted quickly with no bother. Joe was very reassuring, laid back and amazingly helpful throughout the process and just a genuine person. The van was sourced and complete within about 6 to 8 weeks. Everyone I have met since loves it and agrees it is genuinely one of the best camper conversions we have seen. Thank You Team Spartan I will for sure recommend you to anyone I speak with!

The wife and I have been looking for a campervan, Spartan Campervans fitted the bill. Excellent service nothing to much always there to help, would highly recommend. Our campervan is Excellent the seat colours are out of this world.

I had been looking for a campervan for a while but couldn’t find a van to fit. Finding Spartan Campers was pure serendipity but after a phone call and speaking to Joe I headed over. That was that…it was immediately apparent that they produced exceptional conversions and Joe was able to put together a van that met all my needs and in budget. I bought a van that morning and it was ready a month later.
No other campervan dealer had been able to offer a full respray so I was a little bit reticent but the result was nothing short of amazing. Superb job.

Joe spent a long time going through all the options for the actual conversion. Nothing was too much trouble.

The conversion is also to a high standard and the team are so helpful and friendly. It’s clear they take great pride in their work.

However it doesn’t end with picking up
the van. The after sales support is outstanding. Communication is excellent. Aftercare is so important and it has been flawless.

First trip out in the van for a few days despite the weather and it was great.

Joe was super friendly and helpful when showing us the camper. He gave us time to explore the van and answered all questions. We pointed out a couple of marks on the passenger window and kitchen unit and without hesitation these were rectified. Would definitely recommend Spartan campers for the quality of their work, their professionalism and friendliness.

We live in Northern Ireland and at first our journey with Spartan Campers started with phone calls in which we explained what we were looking for in a van, nothing was too much trouble for Joe and his team, we were updated with photos of the van and on the day of collection we flew over to Birmingham where we were met at the airport by a member of the Spartan Camper team and driven to Spartan Camper Unit where Joe met us and did a thorough handover of the van explaining everything we needed to know.
The luxury finish to the van is outstanding and we are so pleased that we decided to use them, We can not recommend Spartan Campers highly enough, everything we asked for was carried out to the highest of standards.

Absolutely fantastic service and after sales. The van conversions are outstanding. We had been looking for a new camper for a couple of months. After seeing many it wasn’t until we saw the vans on show at Spartan that we fell in love with them straight away. Design and finish of the conversions are second to none. By far the best vans we had seen. Ordered 1 after our visit and collected it a week later. Highly recommend a visit if you looking for a high class camper.

So back in December I brought my dream camper with Spartan. Absolute blown away with the van the conversion in its self is the best on the market. I had a few teething issues at the start but they got sorted the following day. They even come to me at my work place and sorted it for me which is over a hours drive. I’m so happy with my camper. One thing with this company is AFTERCARE these guys are the company to use and you will not regret… Thankyou!

Everyone reading this will probably know how hard it is to find the right Camper Van… well Spartan Campers is your final destination, from start to finish Joe and his team have been absolutely fantastic. After several let downs and disappointments along the way with other conversion places we would have no doubt in recommending Spartan. We have ended up with a smashing van, which is finished to an excellent standard, with faultless customer service along the way. We wanted some specifics to our van and Joe went above and beyond to make these extras happen and to accommodate us. We can’t wait to have many adventures in our new van. Joe and the team have been absolutely fantastic right from the very start, from sourcing me a van to my requirements to the day of delivery.
Along the way we had a few minor issues which were very efficiently dealt with.

We have been looking for a VW Transporter Campervan for over a year and done a lot of research. we finally found the right supplier with Spartan Campers, Joe couldn't do enough for us and had lots of useful tips/advice to give. I was looking to buy a VW camper next year , I did a lot of research and it’s a minefield . I spoke to Joe at Spartan who was very helpful and told me about there conversions which was done totally at there premises , he didn’t do a selling job on me , just told me to come and look at the 22 plate camper which would speak for its self , and it did the quality was excellent and the lay out was good even has a wardrobe. Compared to others I have looked at it was a different level . I have also met Gabriel and Shannon who were excellent . As a fairly new company they have excellent customer care both before and after purchase if they continue this they will go from strength to strength. Thank you Joe Gabriel and the rest of your team .
