Our experience with Spectrum was superb from beginning to end. We ordered a Solarlux bifold door from Neil who kept us informed at every step of the process. Neil did everything within his power to shorten the lead time from Solarlux as we had a massive hole in the side of our house during the middle of winter! The door was fitted to a high standard and the quality of the door itself is superb - we didn't feel like we were paying over the odds for the product itself and are very glad we pushed the boat out for a premium bifold as it should last us a lifetime. If you are looking to purchase a Solarlux or Internorm product, be reassured that Neil and team will not cut corners. We wish we had gone with them for installation of our Internorm windows too.

We had used Spectrum previously to install some Internorm triple glazing and a new front door, so we knew just how good they were already. Once again, they lived up to all of our expectations - the quality of pre-delivery service right through to final installation details were of the highest standard.
Emailing Lone was like contacting an old friend, and meeting Paul again for the measuring up was equally friendly.
On the first day of installation we opened the door to Lee and Phil, and once again it was like meeting a friend, as Lee had been part of the team installing our first windows and front door.
We would highly recommend Spectrum to everyone, as we have to many of our friends and acquaintances. The attention to the smallest details is superb. There is nothing negative to say, only superlatives - and a HUGE THANK YOU!!

Our front bay window and patio door are great. The windows which have leading are a really good fit for the house and the back door is easy to use and beautiful.
We visited the showroom in Newport and got good advice.
We got a visit to measure up and agree the finishes. This requires a small deposit.
Each set of windows had its own fitting team - all efficient and friendly. Though the door fitting was a little dustier than I envisaged, very little damage was caused to the walls, We appreciated the little things being sorted like getting a couple of matching bricks to complete the job and replacing the wood above one window. And particularly, I got confused about how to close the window properly in the evening and one of the fitters came back out to show me what to do. It's simple!
It's worth knowing that a large proportion of the costs are paid upfront and they do not take credit cards.

We recently purchased a new front door / window from Spectrum Architectural Glazing. We are extremely pleased with the product, the customer service we received was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for the team. The fitting team were very friendly and professional and we were very happy with the quality of the door and the finish. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We purchased a number of triple glazed Internorm doors and windows from Spectrum Architectural, Silje supported us through the entire process. She facilitated a viewing at their showroom over a weekend and took us through the various options available - which were extensive. The pricing was competitive, we went ahead and ordered, with Silje keeping us updated through to delivery. Our builders installed the windows and we're really pleased with the quality and look of them.

Excellent showroom, professional staff throughout from introductory meeting to completed installation. Project completed to advised timeline and overall justified the cost.

The customer service was 2nd to none, even when we had some small settling issues Spectrum glazing went above and beyond with their customer service.

I don't normally write reviews, but anyone considering the options for glazing your project will know it seems like a minefield of suppliers and options. Whether you are replacing windows, undertaking an extensions or commencing a greenfield project, a visit to the Spectrum showroom is a must.

The review below aims to give feedback on each stage.

Our project (for context): Extension of an existing property with internal layout modifications carried out by a prime contractor.
Provision of 2 Solarlux sliding doors, approx 6m in total. Windows for extension and replacement of all existing windows with Internorm products. Approx 15 windows in total.

Pre-sales: We visited Spectrum's showroom in Newport Shropshire. This provided a calm environment to get hands on with the products and the team were able to offer some great advice and tips. We are fortunately local, but given the size of investment, it would be worth travelling to the site to get hands on with products and start building the relationships with the team.

Products: We are delighted with the products both in terms of thermal performance, sound transmission (or lack of) and the aesthetics, which are just fantastic. The window mechanisms, build quality and ease of use are what we would expect of a premium product. The products are premium priced, but I expect we will continue to appreciate them long after the price is forgotten.

Sales: A site visit by Spectrum (post-order but prior to build) was thorough and any fitting options (for replacements) were clearly articulated with recommended options. Full bill of materials was provided before manufacturing was committed. For the products due to be fitted in the extension, Spectrum liaised directly with the building contractor to ensure all parties were collaborating, without me being the middle man so there was no risk of miscommunication.

Installation: The installers were ace. Quality of work was first rate and the lads were polite & considerate of our home etc. The window sills are bespoke made to ensure a perfect fit and these are measured up after the glazing have been installed.

Post-Sales Support: We had a query regarding 1 window, which was very quickly looked into and mitigated to our satisfaction.

In Summary: Pay peanuts, get monkeys! Thanks to the Spectrum team.

Thank you to the whole team at Spectrum Architectural Glazing for arranging the purchase, site survey and recent excellent installation of French and bifold doors at our home. We are delighted with their appearance and functionality.

As we were in the middle of significant building alterations, we are particularly appreciative of the fact that all work completed by Spectrum was done punctually on the days agreed.

The installers, Lee and Phil, were extremely professional on site and took considerable care to effect a perfect finish to the fitting of both sets of doors.

We had our Solarlux bi-fold doors fitted over the summer as part of a large extension to our house. Spectrum were one of the best and easiest to deal with contractors of the whole project and the finished product is a stand out feature of the completed extension.

Already noticed big savings/differences in heating, so much so that the Gas Co couldn’t believe the low meter readings so had to send someone in person to read the meter!!

I would wholly recommend Spectrum Glazing to anyone wanting quality high performance windows and doors. The product is excellent quality, Mark and his brother did a fantastic job of overcoming several problems during a difficult install.

Spectrum supplied and fitted two (different) sets of new glazed windows/doors, each of 6 units, to match existing glazing in the rest of the house. They took care to get the design details and specs right to meet our requirements and the finished installation, although expensive, has been excellent. Highly recommended.
