Speedheater System AB
Welcome to Speedheater, a trailblazer in cutting-edge technology dedicated to efficient paint removal and wood surface restoration. With over 30 years of expertise, we have evolved into a symbol of innovation in the renovation industry.
Our journey began in 1988 when Birger Ericson founded the company, focusing on façade renovations with a growing emphasis on paint removal projects. Existing methods like chemicals and blasting caused harm to surfaces and health, prompting the need for a better solution. This led to the invention of the Speedheater, utilizing IR technology to gently soften paint layers down to the wood surface.
The Speedheater technique debuted in 1991 and gained prominence in the 1990s, primarily targeting professional markets. In 2000, the company launched the Speedheater 1100, catering to both professionals and consumers. Over the years, our Speedheater lineup expanded with efficient models like Speedheater Cobra and Speedheater Rapid Slim, along with innovative accessories like the Flexi Scraper.
Our commitment extends beyond product excellence. We are dedicated to fostering a community that values informed and sustainable practices. As a testament to this, our product range includes tools designed for diverse project needs—whether it's renovating facades, windows, doors, boats, or furniture, Speedheater ensures a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly paint removal process.
