Great service and fair pricing for…

Great service and fair pricing for example savage gear lures packed in original packing (x2). Other suppliers online are selling the same lures in singles (x1), without the original packaging for the x2 price. Easy to get caught out by this sneaky trick.

I ordered 2 items and was not informed…

I ordered 2 items and was not informed one was not it stock. After waiting a week I phoned and was told it as out of stock. Another week passed I phoned again and was told it would not be in until February. I was offered the option to have the in stock item and leave the other on back order which I took. I am currently waiting for that to be delivered and I noticed that the invoice shows a delivery charge I trust this will not repeated when the 2nd item is delivered.

FLYING COLOURS

When I first started purchasing from Sportfish I never had such a great shopping experience I found everything I was looking for and when I got stuck on choosing the correct fly for fishing I called them and asked them for some advice about what I would need for trout fishing and they told me everything I needed to know and I made my purchase which was very easy I’ve noticed that the products that they have are of fantastic quality and I was very impressed with how fast they dispatched my items very confident in buying from Sportfish again soon very soon.

I highly recommend them
And a 5 star rating

Professional people to talk to who are very knowledgeable. Very polite in the phone. Swift Dispatch and Delivery. Very competitive prices for professional angling gear.

Delivery rip off

I Ordered a pair of SIMMs boots and paid next day delivery,they did not arrive ,after contacting them they said they would refund it ,im still waiting nearly 3 weeks now several emails no reply.
No I ordered them and paid the deliver of £8.99 thinking it would be delivered the next day as it stated next day delivery. I then asked would it be delivered the next day ,you did not reply ,I then stated if it would not be delivered the next day I would not have paid the next day delivery charge and would have just waited for the normal free delivery, im asking for the return of the delivery charge
Also can you reimburse me the £8.99 on the card I paid for the boots on I do not want a future credit with yourselves
And you did not reply to any of my e mails asking about this delivery charge I contacted you on the 25th Sept, 28th Sept ,1st October and again today 3rd October, all without reply and I did not agree to anything ref this ,you stated one thing then failed to deliver on it ,but still took my £8.99 knowing full well you would not be able to deliver on it .
The top of your Web page even states FREE DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £50 .I paid £183 If I remember and paid the delivery charge of £8.99 ,you took that knowing full well you would not be able to deliver them the next day ,that to me is a RIP OFF

Thank you for leaving your review. We’ve now had some time to look into the issue and this is what we found. You placed your order on the afternoon of Saturday 14th September and then emailed us afterwards to ask if it could be delivered on the Sunday. We replied saying we do not despatch over the weekend (our couriers only collect Monday to Friday standard working days, as is stated on our website's delivery page: https://www.sportfish.co.uk/help/delivery/ along with the next day shipping option at checkout which is labelled: Next Working Day (order before 3pm)) and that your order would be despatched on Monday morning to arrive Tuesday 17th September. This wasn’t ideal for you, however you agreed to it. We also put a £8.99 credit on your customer account for a future next day delivery. Your DPS delivery was signed for on Tuesday 17th September, as promised. As far as we can tell, your order arrived when we said it would, we have replied to all your emails and given you a £8.99 future order credit. We hate to see disappointed customers, so please do get back in contact if this is not the case.

Called in to the Reading store to…

Called in to the Reading store to purchase some waders and boots. I was looked after by James whose knowledge and patience were amazing. I picked his brains across a number of other products and asked for advice which he was more than willing to give, best of all I got a lovely cup of coffee - I will be back, great products great people - Thankyou!! I hope you’re well and thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that you’re not pleased. As you made your order on a Friday, it will be delivered the next working day, which is Monday (only orders placed Monday to Thursday before 3pm are delivered the following day). It does state “next working day” when you select the next day delivery option at checkout and there are full details on our website delivery page www.sportfish.co.uk/help/delivery/. Your package was despatched with DPD on their next day delivery service (tracking number – 6951502314) and it will be delivered today (Monday) between 10.16 and 11.16.

I am feeling very disappointed with the…

I am feeling very disappointed with the customer service I have received from this company…over the last two weeks (two separate orders) I have spent approx £400 pound, the first order I bought a jacket £110 and I got 10% discount great, 2nd order I placed was for a keeper float tube kit £279 which has just been delivered, my complaint is when ordering it I forgot to put my blue card in the voucher against cost, realising my mistake I emailed the company straight away asking if there was anything I could do, basically it was my mistake and if they couldn’t it wouldnt have been too much of an issue as it was my fault but I have had no contact at all from them no answer to my email….not good customer service will not order again ….update on my complaint, I can confirm that I have now received a refund on my order , thank you for sorting this out

We received your email on Monday 2 September and sometimes it can take longer than other times to respond, depending on the volume of emails and how busy we are across the business, especially on Mondays as we’re shut on Sundays. Although we’re a small team, this isn’t the level of excellent service we aspire to. Our apologies we couldn’t get to it sooner, and we’re glad that today (Wednesday 4 Sept) we’ve been able to refund the discount you should have got if you had used your blue card. Less than 24hrs

Had a last minute trip, so ordered some bits at 2pm and they arrived via courier at 7am the next morning.

Wonderful service…

Had the pleasure of popping into the shop to measure up and try some waders on the services from the staff was outstanding specifically Steve who was so helpful with all the advice I could need.

Poor fishing

Poor fishing, very little fish moving, no evening rise. 0 fish caught by anglers all day. Wouldn’t waste my money or time here again. Staff very rude not a friendly vibe at all

Placed an order for spare spools and…

Placed an order for spare spools and payment was taken on the 31 of may and it is now the 17th of June and no spools, have rang three times now and told different things each time. To say that I am not happy would be right which is shame as I have been happy in the past

We’re sorry about this issue. The 2 spare spools you ordered were not in stock at the time and so were placed as a back order. Unfortunately the supplier then changed the date of when we were due to receive them, which may explain why you were told different things and had to wait longer than we expected. We’re pleased that your products were delivered to you on 20th June and we do hope you enjoy them. Once again our apologies, some things are beyond our control.

Excellent subject matter knowledge and Customer Care.

I have just spent the best part of 45 minutes on the phone with Danny discussing my forthcoming holiday to Rhodes while helping me select the right equipment (rod, reel, line, spinner etc) for my trip.
His knowledge of all the options is second to none and customer care is excellent. He has put together a package which will give me years of pleasure while fishing overseas.
Thank you Danny. I will certainly be calling on your encyclopaedic knowledge again.
