Not ideal.
Got given a price of £246 before the phone was sent off. There wasn’t anything wrong with the phone, but apparently, there were deep scratches on the screen, so the amount went down by £100. I questioned it and was basically told that that’s the way it is and there were definitely scratches, even though I have photos that say otherwise.
The company makes out that they’re the best and offer great prices, but they throw a curve ball, I’ve also read other reviews that say the same as me.
I wouldn’t sell through this company again and if you’re thinking of selling your phone, I would definitely look at different companies before going straight to this one.

It looks like the declared condition of the iPhone 12 was 'barely used'. We did find scratches on the screen that we believed were deep so the value was reduced because of this.
I can see you had a discussion with our CS team about the final value and you did have pictures but only with the screen on (our picture guidelines ask for at least one with the screen off). It's disappointing you felt that you were told that's the way it is. I can see we offered to return the phone for free and you and you said "No, it’s fine. I just wondered as I didn’t see any scratches" and you gave the team a nice customer satisfaction score after the conversation.
We do encourage all our customers to shop around at other companies before deciding on us too. And if there is anything more we can do to change your mind about using us again please do let us know.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I sent an Iphone 12pro 128gb unlocked, had a price of £364.00 only to then offer me £199.00 because they deemed the device had moderate wear, the screen does not have one mark on it, the rear of the device has a few minor marks from where lint has got into the case but nothing major. Also on the report they sent me it states normal wear and tear, NOT moderate.

Sorry you’re not happy with the final value Leon. We do offer free returns in this situation so feel free to request this if you’ve not already.
Our ‘Normal wear’ category does cover minor to moderate wear so that’s why the report states that. We’ve also recently updated our descriptions of wear on our website so hopefully this helps make things clearer in future.

We do lower our valuations but only if we believe the device isn’t in the same condition as declared.
Unfortunately in your case we found that the camera lens glass was cracked in addition to other wear on the back and sides. This meant we couldn’t pay the ‘good’ price.
I can see you discussed this with our CS team. We explained that the camera passed all the functional tests so they were showing as working on the report, but the glass is part of the overall cosmetic condition of the phone and it would need to be replaced.
We also offered to return the item but you decided to accept the money offered instead. It’s worrying to us that you said we didn’t do this. Perhaps you didn’t see our message? It will still be in your account to view if you log in and then click on the chat icon (top right) and then messages (bottom middle).
I hope it was also clear that we do offer everyone free returns as part of our process if they’re not happy by clicking the reject button instead of accepting it and if it wasn’t we’d love any feedback on how this could’ve be improved?

Brilliant company - well recommended
Brilliant company. Bag arrived quickly and it's great that they're reusable. I followed the instructions and sent the phone off on Tuesday, it was received on Wednesday and the money was in my account waiting to be transferred on Thursday. Despite other bad reviews, this was a great experience and I got the high end of the estimation for my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Found Spring to be a great way of…
Found Spring to be a great way of recycling our phones that we had recently upgraded. Good offers for both phones. Little problematic when the pouch did not arrive but a quick call got it resolved. Because of the delayed pouch we were right on the 30 day offer limit. Spring actually offered us less than the original offer despite all the checks coming back positive. Again got the situation resolved and we were reimbursed the amount of the original offer. Despite this I would definitely use Spring again.
