The payments grow and grow and grow, but the service stays the same. I regret ever signing anything from Sapphire. They are refusing to let us leave.

I dodged a bullet by reading these reviews. I almost signed up for it last weekend in Destin, FL. The sales guy was great and did his job well, however, his associate was aggressive and appeared agitated that I wouldn't sign. That in itself was a red flag. Thank you all for your reviews. You saved me a lot!
Beware everyone
Beware everyone. Doing business with this company was a total disappointment. We had it for over a year and all we did was pay pay pay. Oh! and that free trip noone ever called me to schedule or received mail nothing. You will have a very hard time using your points, and honestly its nothing like the presentation. You will be tricked and hassled and we failed for it. Long story short. We had no option but to stop paying. Yes, it went to collections and don't care. We are so relived and stress free now.
This timeshare has been nothing but trouble and heartache
This timeshare has been nothing but a disappointing and distressing experience. Despite fulfilling my obligations, the company has refused to help or address my concerns. They did not deliver what was promised, and their lack of accountability has left me with mounting frustration.
The limited 5-day rescission period makes cancellation impossible, even in light of the many misrepresentations made during the sales process. I was led to believe this program would provide affordable and accessible travel options, but in reality, it has been riddled with issues and failed to meet expectations.
The financial burden is overwhelming, and the suggestion to pay off the loan in full before being allowed to sell or transfer, along with an additional $499 fee, is both unrealistic and unfair. This only adds to the costs of a program that has not delivered on its promises.
Repeated attempts to resolve this matter amicably have been met with inflexible policies that offer no real solutions. The failure to uphold the terms and promises made during the sales process is unacceptable. The company must take responsibility for the strain this agreement has caused and allow for the termination of the contract.
This has been an emotionally and financially taxing ordeal, and I urge others to proceed with extreme caution before entering into a similar agreement. This company must do better for its customers.

Our involvement with Sapphire Resorts has been nothing but disappointing. I was promised easy travel and enjoyable vacations, but instead faced constant unavailability and restrictions that made it impossible to use the program. When I reached out for help, the representative focused on upselling rather than addressing my concerns.
The financial burden has been overwhelming and a pain to deal with. We can't even sell the timeshare, as it holds no market value, leaving us stuck with unmanageable fees. This company failed to deliver on its promises, and I would strongly advise against doing business with them.

Timeshare Cancellation Request
Owning a timeshare with this company has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences for our family. What was supposed to be a beneficial investment quickly turned into a burden, and unfortunately, we’ve received nothing close to the service or value that was promised to us.
Not only have we been unable to use the benefits we were led to believe we’d enjoy, but we’ve also faced several challenges that have made this situation even worse. Our family has recently dealt with some medical issues, and when we reached out to the resort for assistance, the lack of care and concern we received was shocking. One representative instructed us to write a letter, but another dismissed it outright, stating that it wouldn’t make a difference. Their responses were rude, dismissive, and completely devoid of the support we expected as paying members.
We strongly believe that the company should allow us to cancel our timeshare, given all that we’ve endured. The financial and emotional toll this has taken on us is substantial, and to continue under these circumstances feels unfair and exploitative.
If you’re considering a timeshare with this company, please take this as a cautionary tale. Be extremely careful and reconsider whether it’s worth the potential stress, disappointment, and lack of assistance when you truly need it. What was sold to us as a dream quickly turned into a regrettable mistake, and we wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same experience.
Highly Disappointing
Our experience with this company has been highly disappointing. They promised free trips to Hawaii but failed to deliver, later claiming it was a third-party issue they wouldn’t honor. Using their website has been frustrating and nearly impossible without calling for assistance. Additionally, we were forced to book through the RCI site for an extra $239 because the affiliated Jockey Club timeshares were in undesirable locations, a fact they omitted during their presentation.
We were misled into believing this arrangement was a valuable investment that would appreciate in value and could easily be passed on to someone else. Instead, it has turned into a financial burden with no way to exit. The lack of transparency and unmet promises have left us deeply regretting our decision. We want out of this agreement and would not recommend this company to others.
Unhappy and upset
Sapphire Resorts prioritize their own interests over their customers. Their sales team misleads buyers and offers only a short window to cancel, while it takes months to realize the contract isn't worthwhile. Vacation can be booked for less elsewhere without hidden fees!
Sapphire resort is a scam
I think yelp needs to add negative stars. Whatever you do do not sign up for Sapphire resorts. It is a scam and they will do everything they can screw you over and take your money. I have unfortunately done business with these unethical people. I went down to Las Vegas in 2020 and as we walking on the strip after stopping at a couple of bars with drinks in hands, we were stopped by one of their high-pressure salesman to convince us to go to one of their timeshare presentations with a promise of an awesome gift. What's funny is walking up to the jockey club he told us that we had to finish our drinks because we are not allowed to have alcohol or be under the influence when you go to the presentation. This salesman knew the rule knew that we had been drinking, but yet still convinced us to come. We were stupid and kind of drunk and eventually sign up for their timeshare after being promised that we would get a have all these vacation points and a free trip. But what they don't tell you that you could never use the point because they never have any times available and a free gift they give you, you can never use. I tried it was never able to use it. You will be stuck in this timeshare for the rest of your life. Whatever you do do not do it. They pray on tourist with lies and broken promises.
I cannot say it strong enough do not by Sapphire, resorts, or for that fact in the other timeshare company out there, they are all scams

It’s hard to put into words just how much I regret doing business with this company. The resorts simply aren’t worth being locked into a never-ending contract. I want out, but they won’t let me leave! It’s frustrating and unfair. You can easily find better, more affordable vacation options elsewhere—without the burden of a contract.

This experience has been an absolute onslaught of fees. They definitely do not give you the reality of what you are purchasing when they give their sales presentations. They only gave us a few days to change our mind, but it takes much longer than that to realize what you fell for. Our fees keep increasing with no end in sight. DON'T DO IT
I enjoyed using the getaways and for that alone it was a decent value. But both sapphire and rci raised all of their values. A getaway used to be $199, that's what they advertised to me and that's what it was when I bought in. Now it's over $500 (as of 2025). I am on the triannual for credits and get 24000 every three years. It cost me about $800-900 (I forget what the HOA fee is) so let's say at the very least it's $2400. I can't even stay a week anywhere decent for 24000 points. There are all 45000 and up now. So I can stay for 5 days. Which for $2400 I can book a decent stay anywhere for 5 nights; that's almost $500 a night. Absolute zero value. I paid the HOA this year and would give it away for free in a heartbeat. They told me I could gift it; but I don't even know anyone I hate enough to give this too. Please spare yourself the agony of dealing with this, it is not worth it.

Doing business with this company has been the worst experience! They tricked us into this contract, and now they are never going to let us go. The service is terrible and not even worth what they try and charge. We just want them to let us leave!

The service they provide falls far short of expectations and certainly isn’t worth the price they demand. We’re simply asking for the freedom to move on, but it feels like they’re holding us back at every turn. This situation has been both disappointing and exhausting, and all we want is a fair resolution.
Don’t do it!
I don’t know if it is possible to put into words just how much I regret ever doing business with this company. The resorts are nowhere near worth being tricked into a contract that never ends. I want to be done with them, but they will not let me leave! You can find much cheaper vacations without a contract elsewhere.

If you're thinking about making this "investment," I urge you to think twice. It often comes with more problems than it's worth. Many people, myself included, get lured in by promises that sound too good to be true, picturing a luxurious getaway that turns out to be a letdown. Unfortunately, I’m now stuck in a never-ending contract with steep annual fees that feel impossible to manage. The resorts rarely live up to the hype, and the accommodations and services don't justify the hefty price tag. My experience with The Jockey Club has been nothing short of disappointing.
