NHS thank you medal series
The medal did appear slightly smaller than expected, but the quality of the finish was good.
The presentation was good, and the boxed medal included a card for the recipient, with some of the money paid going towards the NHS charity fund.
I did had to chase up the order by phone as they did not communicate much after the order was placed and it had gone beyond their initial delivery window.
However, having recently spoken to their customer services team I learnt that you need to tick the marketing communications box to allow them to communicate with you. This is something they are looking into to resolve future potential issues.
Their customer services team are very helpful in solving issues you may have and I would recommend using them in the future.

Delivered on time, exactly what I ordered. Unfortunately the person I bought it for had already been given one so I had to return it. Their after sales service is second to none, I was kept informed right up to the actual refund which was almost immediate
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would fully recommend them.

Special Coin Celebrating ODP’s and many others Covid-19
I loved the concept of coin commemorating those who have contributed to the extraordinary efforts to keep people safe during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
My professional group was included so I bought a coin as I am proud of my colleagues contribution.
I am pleased with the silver presentation of the coin: the reverse aspect denoting my professional group, I thought to be perhaps enamelled? However it on closer inspection seems to be a transfer of some description.
I wrote to the Royal Mint to enquire about what the coloured aspect was made of but am still unsure after their reply.
I will not be opening the coin from its presentation box to look more closely, to help prevent from tarnishing.
I am pleased with the item although a little disappointed by what appears to be its method of construction.
It still marks a significant time in the lives of all those present and I will be pleased to pass the item on to my family as a token.

We commissioned the Pure Silver Medal Range to pay tribute to the people who really made a difference in our fight against Covid-19. All profits from this activity are being donated to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Urgent Appeal.
The reverse aspect denoting your professional group is digitally printed. Which is standard practice for proof coins and medals. As this coin was exclusively produced with us at Hattons of London I am not sure that the London Mint would have been able to help with this matter. We do advise not to remove the coin from it's capsule as this keeps it in pristine condition, if you require any further information as to the construction please do not hesitate to email us at enquires@sterlingmint.co.uk.
I absolutely agree this does mark a very significant time in all our lives, I'm sure your family are immensely proud of you and will treasure it forever as a reminder of the absolutely amazing work you did and are still doing without question.
