Stitch & Story Avis 

I am quite concerned about this company as I had been led to believe I was ordering a particular colour pom pom hat kit (ivory white and mustard yellow - as on the description and picture) only to find out that the order was in another colour - one which they did not show a picture of (dusk pink and mustard yellow). I was unable to amend or stop the order as their terms and conditions did not allow it despite showing that it had yet to be 'fulfilled'. I had to wait until I received it and then send it back for a refund. What about consumer rights? You should be allowed to amend orders - especially if they were not as advertised. I am still waiting for it - I'm unable to track the delivery as tracking numbers are not recognised. Customer services are not now responding to my emails (they don't have a phone contact). All in all this has been a very poor experience and one I am unlikely to repeat. Be warned...

Products are of good quality, the packaging is lovely and the instructions are easy to follow. I have shopped with Stich&Story a few times and will continue to use.

However, delivery is slow. Most recently, I placed a next-day delivery order, nearly a week later and still no dispatch email or order received.

Absolutely love my wool. Love the excellent quality as well as the shade of blue. Can't wait to knit the bedtime socks with it.

I ordered jute to make a summer handbag.
The order arrived very fast and the jute was easy to work with.

I love the products offered by Stitch and Story. I have been knitting since I was 9 years old. There had been alot of changes in the world. It used to be mail order catalog world and purchased zero yarn international. I appreciate that the co seeks my advice on their products.

I ordered two of the Sprinkles hat for 2 great nieces. I haven't started it yet as I am finishing another project, but the yarn is gorgeous!!! These hats will be so soft because the yarn is so soft. Very excited to get started. And, Stitch and Story packages the kits so beautifully!

The Lil Merino yarn is simply delightful - it's so soft to the touch, and looks gorgeous when worked up. It can be a little splitty, but once I got into the rhythm of it, it wasn't an issue. I made the Stefano Sweater and it worked up in no time at all - my first finished knitted garment! Instructions in the kits I've had are great, and really useful.

Had a disastrous experience making the Stripey Blankie. I washed the baby blanket and it completely shredded and fell apart. Customer service is blaming me for not washing a baby blanket by hand. I would love to re-do this pattern with a replacement kit, but customer service is very stingy and uncaring.
