They will ghost you
A couple of screening emails and calls, two interviews with the company I’d be working with (which seemed to go well). I was told by the Storm6 recruiter that she would get back to me the next day to let me know what the next steps were. Next day came and went, no contact from them. A week came and went, no contact. I reached out for an update. Can you guess what happened? Nothing. I’m guessing I didn’t get the job but a little “common” (apparently not so common) courtesy to inform me would have been expected. Ghosting applicants is unfortunately an all too common cruelty and Storm6 is no different. Avoid them if you can. They don’t care about you.

Communication is not their strong suit.
I’ve worked with two recruiters from Storm6 at this point and it’s been a disappointing experience to say the least.
The first time around, a recruiter from storm6 reached out about a position and seemed to be very interested in my background and how well it fit the role. I reached out a couple of weeks later to check in and didn’t hear anything for several additional days. I got something akin to “I’ll be in touch with more information.” Nothing. I called and messaged 2 more times and finally got “the position has been put on hold.” After months of reviewing positions and trying to communicate - nothing.
Recently, I applied to another position the company was recruiting for. I got a message asking to have a phone call with a new recruiter as the old one “had been let go.” The new recruiter apologized profusely and assured me that communication is storm6’s strong suit. We had a phone call where I talking about my background and areas I’d like to be in. We scheduled a second call in a few weeks. During the second call, I was told it might be a good idea to be speaking to a different recruiter with a role that would be a better fit. She assured me that she would forward my information and I would hear from this other recruiter soon. Nothing. Then I got a message from the recruiter I had my calls with telling me the “position had been put on hold.”
Has storm6 ever actually filled a position? How can every position be put on hold? If I’m not a good fit, just tell me instead of stringing me along for months. It’s super disappointing to know that this is how the company appears to operate.
