Excellent service every time
I would without a doubt recommend to anyone to come to Strange the Jewlellers for ear piercings. All my daughters have had their ear pierced here, and we have never had any issues whatsoever. From the moment you step in the door to the moment you leave the service you receive is excellent. Everything is calm and relaxed, the staff are friendly, welcoming and engage in converstaion to relax nervous teens. The attic room is perfect, quiet and relaxed and the choice of cuddlies to hold on to is an extra security!

I have used Strange Jewellers for years and and have always found them helpful with advice, listening carefully to what you require and providing possible solutions for what you need. With the quality and designs of the jewellery offered always meeting my needs whether it a gift for males or females. I use them for buying special jewellery in the UK and also for my jewellery valuations and repairs if required.
Recently I needed sound advice on the best chain for a wedding ring from a deceased member of the family and Jo and staff could not have been more helpful with their sound advice during a difficult period, dealing with me with empathy, kindness and professionalism, and the right outcome for what I needed. My 11 year old daughter had her ears pierced here. They were great at explaining each step to her & kept her calm. She is over the moon with her choice of earrings & we’ve had no issues at all with the piercings. Great place & have recommended to her friends.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience with the Tish Lyon titanium flat-back earrings and we completely understand your disappointment.
These earrings are a branded earring we buy in for our store however, this is not the experience we would want for you especially when the earrings were purchased for your young daughter.
As a gesture of goodwill, we will be sending out a replacement pair free of charge today Friday 3rd July 2026.
We would also like to note that these earrings are designed so that the front piece pushes into the tube from the front. They are not designed to screw into the tube from the back. Ensuring they are fitted this way should help keep them secure during wear.
Once again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

A Kind and Professional Experience
I’ve bought many lovely pieces from Jo and Jason over the years, including my wedding rings, so when I needed advice on what to do with my Mum’s jewellery after she passed away, I decided to call in. Jo invited me to bring everything in and went through it with me, handling what could have been an emotional task with real sensitivity.
Jo's guidance was clear and helpful, and I was happy to accept the offer to buy the gold and silver. I also appreciated the practical advice on what to do with the remaining items. It was something I’d been putting off, and I’m very grateful for Jo’s help.

I found the perfect 9ct gold open heart earrings on their website and easy to order. I received them in 2 days so really quick delivery service. They were well packaged and in a lovely pink jewellery box and I’m very happy with the earrings and would recommend this company
