Worst form of Scamming

I have been charged close to £15 extra on my Three contract very month for the last 3 months. I noticed it late due to my direct debit arrangement for mobile phone bills. When I called in Three customer service informed me that this is something they cant help as it is a third party service. I contacted SB7 on the number provided by Three and they informed me that I am subscribed to their Stripey offers which I have no idea how. This is an absolute scam where they make you enter your number online and charge you regularly for this. I can't understand how they can do this in a regulated market like UK. The company has worse ethics than the 'Nigerian prince' sending emails to everyone offering millions.

Scammers

Scammers! Report!!

I'm with Three and realised that my bills have increased by £20 a month, I couldn't log in to check my bills so I didn't know what I was being charged for. Eventually I managed to log in and realised I have been charged £1.25 every 2 days by SB 7 Mobile, also operating as Dynamic Mobile and Stripey..etc, phone number that apparently sent messages to me is 88222. I never signed up to any of these scammers, I never used their services. More on the 24th September I received a suspicious text with a pin to sign up or ignore if "this wasn't you" message that was said "free message ". I ignored. On the 27th September I received another similar message and I ignored, blocked and reported as scam. Never received any more messages from them. My shock to realise they have been charging me£1.25 every 2 days for messages that I never even received, nevermind using their "services ". I must have contacted Three 20 times!!! Absolutely useless. How can Three allow their customers to be scammed this way is uncomprehensible. Three took unauthorised money from my account to pay these scammers, what is the evidence that was given to Three to show that I actually used these scammers services??? I can prove that I didn't. Funny that I received a call from an American woman saying good news we offer you a full refund and sent me text with a link. If you open the link they ask your sort code and account number and other personal details!!!!! Scumbags!!!! Report report and report. Mobile providers in my opinion are responsible for allowing these scammers to steal their customers.
First thing to do is text STOP to 88222, cost 12 pence. Notify your bank and stop payments. Contact phone provider and request evidence of any subscription in written.
Debit card cancelled, and I contacted every authority that I can think can deal with these bast***s

Scum!

Can you please explain to me how you can bill me or do you just send a text to random numbers and steal their credit?

I’ve had O2 permanently block you.

I will be taking this further.

Total scam

Total scam, somehow they get you to agree to something in the small print that allows them to send you text messages at £1.50 a text, do not touch them with a barge pole and do not try to call them, your call will be diverted to an international premium rate number, I think they are scamming under different company names, they have been reported.

I begrudge giving these scammers 1…

I begrudge giving these scammers 1 star recieved my 02 bill been charged 19.50 for something I never subscribed to from reading the reviews on here don't feel to hopeful 02 are going to do the right and clear this scum site off and refund the money they are stealing off me 02 should have more protection by blocking these premium text services .but it appears they are looking out for each other instead of there customers. I've just been to a website called phone paid service authority (PSA) and registered my complaint and disgust with them I'd advise everyone to do the same let's get these scam artist out of the market.

They are scammers and mobile network…

They are scammers and mobile network provider won't refund. They give you details to email them and that it. I'm with Three. You can text STOP to 88222. But I don't know if this works yet as only did today . So far they added about 19.50 to my mobile bill for possibly months. Awful. And I have no idea how I ended up with this thing .

Clearly scammers

Clearly scammers. (StripeyGiraffe Ltd and SB7 Mobile). They mislead people into signing up for some kind of subscription. eg prize draws. Whatever the pretext they proceed to try and get money via Paypal or maybe a cellular company such as O2. Clever really as they do not need to directly ask for payment details as they get their money through a "trusted" third party. I spotted the DD request on Paypal where fortunately I did not have a balance so they didn't get anything. I reported the issue to Paypal and they took immediate action to stop the DD's and said they would report the companies to the "concerned department" and they would take any necessary action. Hopefully Prosecution

Throughly egregious company capturing…

Throughly egregious company capturing customers by stealth and deceit, then billing them for sending out links to offers by text. This sort of operation needs to be illegal and directors put in jail. You can at least claim your money back.

Stripey offers a scam

Don't know how this company got my number, but I started getting texts from them. It said free msg so I just ignored them. Noticed my bill had gone up quite a bit but I was having problems with my phone app so couldn't check what the extra amount was. I sat on it for while meaning to contact my phone company. I rang them this morning and found I had been getting charged for this stripey offers. Cost me about £60 over 3 months , put a cap on my phone bill now. Feel very angry about this company.

Avoid signing up to this.

A really bad company that keep sending texts that cost £1.50 a time for very little benefit . The worst thing of all is you have to pay £1.50 to send them text to cancel.

SCAM and 02 won't do anything to help

Been charged £41.69 by 02.
When I phoned 02 to ask why is my bill so high, they said Tap2bill /Stripey Giraffe charged £20.30 to my account. I do not enter competitions, I am not a gamer and do not watch adult entertainment. I do not know how this racket got hold of my phone number but I do know that 02 is compliant by allowing this well known scam to charge my phone account.

Pensioner trying to get Tesco clubcard got scammed by Stripey

My mum was trying to download the Tesco Clubcard app. She asked me to check why they’re charging her for receiving update texts but when I looked it was Stripey and nothing to do with Tesco. They have obviously hacked their way into some legitimate app services to get your details. Once they have your phone number they start charging up to £4.50 per day for sending nonsense texts about a service that doesn’t exist. I believe you can unsubscribe and also opt out of the texts but even if you are immediately aware that this is a scam they send 3 texts before you can stop them. My mum is 79. Utter criminals.
