They Don't Care
I decided to hire Sunbelt because they were local. I agreed to work with a broker that had less then a year of experience who seemed energetic and eager to push forward. Unfortunately, I was wrong in my evaluation. The reason for this is because the broker and the staff only helped me to a point of bringing the potential buyer in front of me. After that, I felt on my own. The shocking thing for me was that they would side with the buyer on various issues and one gets the impression that their main goal at that point is to just get you to sign on a dotted line, regardless of the conditions of the APA document. Sadly, they did not stand by me and when I asked them about it, the answer was ‘you will not get a better offer’ which sounded like a threat in case I didn’t sign it. This was unprofessional and I felt pressured throughout the process even though it was unfavorable to me. Button line, they do not stand by their customer, and they pressure you to sign a bad deal.
