Professional and honest

We have just had solar panels fitted by SunwurX. I can honestly say everyone we came into contact with was very friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
Alex took his time to explain the whole process, costings and savings that xan be made. He was really honest and genuine with his advice. Alex secured us a competitive price we are happy with and the team made sure the whole installation went smoothly with no issues.
I particularly like that Alex set up a WhatsApp so we could ask questions anytime and nothing was ever too much trouble, this gave me confidence that he was genuine and not just trying to secure a sale. Our solar panels wasn't the cheapest, however we was very clear with what extra quality we was paying for.
I really appreciated the honesty and professionalism. Thank you to Alex and the team at SunwurX.

We recently had solar panels installed…

We recently had solar panels installed and honestly, the whole experience was so much easier and smoother than we expected.

From the very beginning, Alex who came to speak with us was incredibly approachable, friendly and easygoing. He explained everything clearly and was happy to answer any questions we had, no matter how many we asked! What we really appreciated was how realistic and honest he was throughout the process. We never felt like anything was being hidden or exaggerated, which made us feel really comfortable and confident in our decision.

The whole process, from the initial conversation through to having the solar panels installed, was quick, straightforward and hassle-free. We were actually surprised by how fast everything happened.

We were also genuinely surprised by how affordable the whole system was. We expected it to cost much more than it did, so that was a really pleasant surprise.

Overall, we’re really happy with Alex and his team and the whole experience. Would definitely recommend them to anyone considering solar panels.

Nick, Sharon and the team were great!

Nick came to our home at a time that suited us both. He was pleasant, friendly and well informed. He educated us both on our energy usage, bill and made sure the system would be beneficial for us in multiple ways. Taking our financial situation into account he really went the extra mile for us pre and post installation.

The instillation itself was speedy after the initial meeting & survey were carried out. During the install everything was ran through with myself before they carried out the works to make sure I was happy with how the system would look on the outside of our home.

Post installation we have been kept in the loop by Sharon, she kept us up to date on the certificates and checked in with myself and my partner to make sure our tariffs were set up correctly.

We are made up with our investment and the experience we have received.

Snake-Oil Salesman

I really wish our experience was better. The only reason I’ve given two stars is that the person who initially called me to book a home visit/meeting was really nice and told me that if we have the meeting we’ll receive a no obligation, no pressure 28 day quote - they won’t contact us again after - and respect our decision on the product afterwards. Then the snake oil salesman came.

Bombarded us with a lot of information and numbers, ran through the slide presentation way too quickly for any human to comprehend, only showing the slides that depicted how good their product/company was. Then gave us the price and when we said we need to talk it though between us and sleep on it the pressuring started making us feel like we are stupid for not taking the deal and making the biggest mistake of our lives. Given us a better deal straight away on the price to try and persuade us to sign there and then.

Gave us by the end of the week to make a decision. When we declined the offer the next day we have received a shockingly unprofessional message that was clearly written out in a hurry and sent without reading it back misnaming myself and trying pit myself and my husband against each other, making assumptions about our life and relationship.

If after declining the offer we weren’t attacked, but thanked for our time, sent over the 28 day quote and left to think it through with respect we probably wouldn’t have ended this journey with sour taste in our mouths and an absolute no from us.

We’re particularly concerned to hear about the way the presentation was delivered and, most importantly, that you felt pressured to make an immediate decision when you had clearly expressed that you wanted time to discuss things and consider your options. This is not the experience we want for our customers, and we understand how this could have left a very negative impression.

We’re also sorry that the follow-up message was addressed incorrectly and came across as personal or as though it was attempting to create division between you and your husband. We appreciate how inappropriate and upsetting this must have felt.

We value the feedback you’ve provided and will ensure it is shared with the relevant teams so that the experience can be reviewed and lessons learned. We’re sorry that your journey with us ended but we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Great customer service

Very polite and knowledgeable salesman, answered all my questions on how the system would work and where it would be best installed. Even after installation they have been keeping in contact with me, which I didn't expect. 5 out of 5 for me!

Very positive experience.

Very positive experience with this company. We knew very little about Solar other than it would cut our electricity bills. Alex who visited us was very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our many questions without rushing us and is still keeping in touch after the installation to help us get the best from it. The office staff are extremely helpful too. We are happy to recommend SunWurx to our friends and family.

Predatory financial agreement and sales tactics

Run away.

I was quoted around £20,000 cash equivalent for a 15 kWh battery setup spread over a 20-year finance term. This is an investment that will never pay for itself in any calculation with reasonable figures.

Laughably, their salesman told me that I could expect to spend upward of £100,000 on energy over the next 30 years.

They tried to get me to accept on the spot, which was obviously never going to happen.

It is now over one week later and I am yet to receive the copy of their figures I requested (and which they agreed to send me). Why? Because they know that their quote cannot survive a simple internet search.
