Patient Access – ongoing login failure
Patient Access – ongoing login failure despite NHS Login being offered as a secure sign-in method
I am continuing to experience a persistent and unresolved technical failure with Patient Access, and I am still unable to reliably access my account, medical records or prescriptions.
On Sunday, 21 June 2026 at approximately 15:30, I was attempting to log in to my own Patient Access account when Patient Access displayed the message:
“We’ve detected activity on your Patient Access account.”
This occurred while I was trying to access my own account. I was then unable to get into the account and was caught in a repeated technical loop.
The same problem is happening again now. You attempt to log in to your own account, you are blocked from accessing it, and the system continues to produce error messages rather than allowing you to proceed.
Initially, I repeatedly received a message saying I had been “logged out”. I am now receiving:
“Sorry, we weren't able to sign you in at this time.”
I contacted Patient Access Support and explained the problem, including that I am partially sighted and require reliable access to my medical records. On 30 June, I was advised that my account should be deleted so that I could re-register and set a new password.
The problem is still happening now.
