Sure Thing Toys Avis 57

I have been waiting more than a year now for my preorder I purchased from Sure Thing Toys (order placed on 4/28/22, the date field here won't go back that far). They keep moving the expected delivery date ahead one month each month that passes. They refuse to give a refund and hide behind PayPal's policies to avoid doing so. Meanwhile, I bought the same product from a different seller six months ago for almost half the price and have already built it. Sure Thing Toys has offered me store credit, but what use do I have for store credit from a place that won't give me what I ordered to begin with? I would likely get stuck in a loop of using that credit to purchase something else that they won't ship either. Sure Thing Toys are clowns, just plain and simple. Do not do business with them and look for your items from a more reputable and reliable store.

I am still waiting for the Eddie Munson QPosket that I bought from June 2022.

Preordered figures from Sure thing Toys. Items were Goodsmile Pop up parade. Under said toy brand they have the badge that they are a trusted partner store to goodsmile. My figures were set to release in December 2022 but five months have passed since they released and Sure thing toys keeps pushing back their release date. I decided to contact Goodsmile Company to ask them why they had not released the figures to Sure Thing Toys. I received a reply today from goodsmile telling me Sure Thing Toys was not a partner store. They suggested that I try purchasing from a partner store next time. At this point I’m hoping that if I ever get my order it not Bootleg figures. Beware of Sure thing Toys.

My order was placed in November of 2021. The pre-order dates for all of the items have long pasted. It is now March of 2023 and I have only received 1 of my 3 items and no refund. This is the worst company I've ordered from. The customer service blames the customer for not viewing delays from the manufacturer but never updates that information on their site. They are rude and aggressive towards people paying them $100+ for items they feel they will never see. If your item does magically finally arrive (after lots of fighting on Facebook,) the company sends you several messages about how they sent a fraction of your order after nearly a year. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY!

I've ordered from this company a few times because they ship fast and every order has came in perfect condition and was packaged excellent when I got them.

Still waiting on a preorder from October of last year.

Their replies are generic with no helpful deadlines set for arrival.

Every other store already got their shipments months ago.

I’m really disappointed and highly advise others to preorder elsewhere.

Preordered a figure for $70.02. It was supposed to be shipped out toward the end of January 2023 and EVERY online store based in the US had this particular figure in stock during that month. They refused to give me a refund, the 180 day limit on PayPal refunds passed, and they would only give store credit. I didn't get my figure until mid March 2023. Two months after the actual shipping date. DO NOT SHOP HERE or this WILL happen to you too.

I pre-ordered a Funko Pop in June 2022. It was supposed to ship in September. September came & went. Nothing. Then it was supposed to come in October. Then November. Now it's December - still no Funko Pop. Everyone I know who ordered the same Pop from other sites got theirs in October. Sure Thing's customer service replies have been rude & condescending. DO NOT order from these people.

Preordered a toy in Jan 2022. They already had toys sent out for reviewers at that time. Even with delays a lot of major retailers received it in June. I realized it never got here so I looked into it. Since it was purchased over 6 months ago they will not refund me unless I want store credit. They said ETA would be late Nov and it is currently Dec with no update. It seems pretty scammy if you never receive a product. If you buy something else with store credit would it even show up? I can literally go to another website and buy it right now. Cheaper even. My only experience is with preorders so maybe they actually have other toys in stock.

Over two months ago, I ordered an advent calendar. The order was supposed to be fulfilled on October 31, 2022. My repeated emails were ignored. Finally, I was given a promise that the order would be sent on time but it never arrived.

This company is filled with liars and it is my hope that you see this review before you make a purchase with this horrible company.

BUYER BEWARE of preordering from this shady store. Purchased the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball Super Gohan figure half a year ago, and still have not received it.

Other retail stores had this item in stock 2 months ago, yet this one can't seem to get their shipment from the manufacturer. And contacting their customer service is useless, as they have given me the runaround about how pre-orders estimated delivery dates are subject to change, and refused to cancel the order and give me a refund.

Overall terrible experience purchasing from them, and I advise you to NOT do business with these people.

Pre-order Bandai Gundam from Sure Thing store is not a good idea. They are super slow. My experience is, I pre-ordered the metal build hi-v gundam from the Sure Thing store while the ETA on website was Sept. However, my order is still NOT fulfilled now (Oct 29) while other retailers already have the same metal build hi-v gundam in stock since Sept and never sold out.

I would stay away from them. I preordered a figure that has since been released already, yet they say the manufacturer hasn't released it yet and they won't give me a refund on my preorder. So I'm basically stuck waiting for their slow "manufacturer" to release it.

Ordered five “in-stock” pops from them. They arrived, double boxed and well protected. Three of the five were damaged. Sent pics of the outer and inner box showing that damages didn’t occur during transit and items were shipped from their warehouse in that condition. Customer service responded and said they had “replacements” held for me and also stated that a UPS claim was being filed and that I may need to provide UPS with info before a return could be processed which could be 7-10 more days. I responded and told them that I would gladly tell UPS that Sure Thing was trying to file a fraudulent claim. I demanded a return label since the damages were no fault of mine, nor did the fraudulent claim they were attempting to make with UPS have anything to do with my return. Haven’t heard a word from them since. Filing a chargeback with my bank today. I’ll get my money back, they’ll get hit with a chargeback fee, and I’ll never do business with these scammers ever again.

I bought a four figure set. 2 were in stock and 2 were preorders. The 2 that were in stock shipped right away, delivered within a few days. But the other 2 have been sitting as a preorder for nearly two years. I ordered all four in November of 2020 and it is now October 2022. I have emailed them before and was told that Bandai hasn't informed them yet about shipping them to their warehouse, but they would send me an email right away when they ship. I'm iffy about continuing to wait because I saw another website say they will deliver October 2022. I don't really believe this though, because so many others have recieved these figures over the last few years they've been out. In the end, I'd only trust this website for figures that are IN STOCK, not preorders.

I reordered some Funko Pops in March with an ETA Ship Time of June. It is now almost October, and they keep pushing back the ETA. I'm sure they'll continue pushing it all the way to next at this point.

It's sad when I enter stores even like Gamestop and I see the Funko Pops I preordered for months now just in stock on the shelves, and still waiting for mine from UnSureThingToys.

Best thing to do is just order from more trustable sellers such as Amazon and Gamestop, even Ebay. They do not have strict policies here, and it seems that even the manufacturers of Funko do not prioritize sending it to UnSureThingToys.

Total rip off, ordered my figure two years ago and still nothing. They stole my money!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I had a great experience ordering from this store. I've ordered multiple items and won't hesitate to purchase more. From pre orders to in stocks! Neca figz, anime statues, and beyond. Prices are right, packaging it prime quality, what is not to like?! Especially their signature tape haha. Unfortunately, people have had bad experiences but I never have on multiple orders.
