After 5 years of using SuretyBonds\.com for all of our company’s licensing bonds, I am moving all of our business elsewhere\. Their customer service has become a nightmare to deal with, and after comparing options, I also discovered they were by far the most expensive\.
I contacted another bond company and, in less than 7 minutes, they handled 5 state bonds with excellent customer service—for **half the price** SuretyBonds\.com was charging us\.
Better service, faster turnaround, and literally half the cost\. I wish I had switched years ago\.

while the process itself was easy
while the process itself was easy, I didn't appre$iate the strategy used to appraise the value of the car. It definitely does not work in the customers best interest with the purchase of the bond AND at the motor vehicle. Had i been more informed, there was a way for me to avoid paying wayyy too much in sales tax because of the way the car was valued and the bond issued.

Our understanding is that the bond amount should be equal to 1.5 times the value of the vehicle as determined by the TN Department of Revenue.
