The reason I went with Swinton was I went through Easyfundraising website and Swinton give a good donation to my cause. As yet Swinton has not yet acknoledged this donation, which is usually logged as pending, to be confirmed etc. (which I believe is 90 days with yiourselves). I will be dissapointed if the donation is not made, and go with someone else next time. Apart from that, my 'experience' was fine.

Paid in full for insurance on a motorcycle, including legal protection. 3 months in cancelled due to selling the bike.
Not a single penny refund due to their cancellation fees. £156 for 3 months insurance!
AVOID SWINTON BIKE INSURANCE!!!

Monthly payments = loan!
Please be aware that purchasing via monthly payments means you are taking out credit on finance. It is not a standard direct debit.
I have switched to an annual payment, but likely had a hard search completed already which will impact my credit score. Neither Swinton nor their credit partners were able to accurately inform me of the status of the credit search and the impact of cancelling.

Excellent in respect of placing cover and terms offered for value.
I can’t really comment on an existing policy as I only took mine out yesterday. However, I chose through the positive online feedback, good value for the cover chosen and the ease of which it was to place. I actually participated in an online chat with one of their Advisors following placing cover, just to offer positive feedback. Being in the industry myself, I know this goes a long way and I felt it justified. I spent quite a while looking at alternatives which were far more complex with added policy restrictions. As a new customer, I am impressed and highly satisfied. In respect of the actual policy and how it will transpire regarding my future requiremebts, obviously I am yet to comment but first impressions are excellent.
