Very good customer service
I spoke to Laura, who was exceptional, she was patient, clear, not pushy, she gave me all the options I needed and did not try and sell me what was not required. I was very impressed by her and the company as a whole, prices are reasonable and transparent and they offer a lot for what you get. I highly recommend this company so far, I will give an update as I use the service for longer.

Amazing service in solving an issue…
Amazing service in solving an issue where I had switched phones and also wanted to amend my greeting. I spoke with Katie Mcsweeney who was brilliant and did not leave my side until the issue was resolved. I have been with SBF nearly two years and never had an issue, amazing customer care.

Bait and Switch…
Went throught he order process to fail at the checkout, when I explained on Livechat I was told the FREE voipphone which was in my cart wasnt available for the econmy package (also in my cart) - was asked to send a screenshot, which I did. Was simply told
"I have just checked with our sales team and I'm afraid this isn't an active offer so has been raised with our technical team to see how this has happened.
I can of course update the account for you but if you would like the economy plan then I'm afraid the handset isn't included"
I thought this type of bait and switch tactic was behind us.

We've recently started with Switchboard free and so far everything has been smooth and easy. Customer care is easy to get hold of for any questions and the staff are polite and friendly (and happy at work) which counts for a lot when it comes to knowing you're in good hands

When signing up for our services online, the 0800 number package is advertised as 99p for the first month and £15 per month thereafter. Additionally, the call recording feature was activated, which is an optional add-on costing £14.96 per month. Once you let us know it wasn’t required, we promptly refunded the charges for this feature.
To further assist, we’ve also waived our standard 90-day term and allowed your account to be closed early. Our team has been in touch to resolve this matter and ensure you’re satisfied with the outcome.

This has got to be the most unfit for…
This has got to be the most unfit for purpose service I've ever used. Had to contact them at the beginning as no calls were coming through, it worked for a day then reverted back to the app failing to notify me of incoming calls. Very very poor.

I've been a "customer" for years
I've been a "customer" for years, but am still wondering apart from their 08XX numbers, which are provided free but cost a bomb to call. What is *FREE* and good about this service.
As I'd seen some info about 08 numbers changing to 03 and not seeing them offered, stopped using the 08 service. Oh and if your wondering who I am, I'm the guy you called at a funeral on my mobile and you didn't call the 0844/0843 number, which would have connected you to someone expecting the call and wasn't expecting the call during a funeral at a church with crap mobile signal.
Have read through the comments and noticed the cancellation policy which wasn't there when I signed up seems to be moving from 30 to 60 to 90 days, yet from what I remember you sign up with a tickbox and I remember signing up for something that was by default and no opt out

We would like to clarify that we always contact our customers on the number listed on their account, not their SwitchboardFREE number. This ensures we are speaking directly to the account holder and helps avoid any potential inbound charges for the customer.
We cannot find any record of you having reached out to us regarding any concerns. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss and resolve any issues you may have. Please feel free to give us a call on 0203 189 1213, and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Regarding the cancellation policy, we’d like to clarify that our policy actually changed from 90 days to 30 days to make the process more customer-friendly. If you have any questions or concerns about this, we’d be happy to provide further explanation and ensure everything is clear.

Katie at Switchboard was a great help. I enquired about different option for phones for our office and what would work best for us and Katie kept me right with options and prices.

Terrible customer service avoid at all…
Terrible customer service avoid at all costs , after having an enquiry about their services I received a call from one of their customer service representative if I need any assistance, going through the details she sent me a link to review and make the payment if I want to have the service, Few hours later I received another phone call from Collection department demanding payment overdue ;))) . The following day I received emails saying that if don’t make payment they will pass to debt collectors , this is happening within few hours not even having any services active , avoid this company at all cost .

I can see that you went through your signup with one of our dedicated sales team over the phone and you requested she send you a payment link as opposed to paying over the phone. We do not offer free trials, so payment is required at the start of the contract. Leading on from that we have sent automatic reminders via text and email.
Our support team reached out to ensure you had all the information needed and to discuss payment options. We understand you asked to keep the account open initially, even without payment details. Of course, at any point, you’re welcome to let us know if you prefer not to continue, and we’ll close the account accordingly.
It appears you chose to close your account during your last conversation with our support team, which is of course absolutely fine and was completed immediately.
We’re currently reviewing our payment request processes to ensure all communications are clear and relevant to our customers.
