LOSS OF £600

LOSS OF £600 PURCHASING iPHONE ONLINE. OWNER IGNORES ANY CALLS/EMAILS.

purchased an iPhone 15 Pro Max, 256GB for £600. They emailed me to provide ID. I replied saying "just refund it please. ill buy elsewhere". They still shipped the item. They activation locked my phone, convinced Clearpay they removed it when they didn't, and denied any returns. Owner just ignores any calls or emails.

I cannot bank dispute this or dispute with Clearpay so I'm down £600 with a useless activation locked iPhone.

They are now trying to flag me for defamatory content when everything I said is exactly what happened. They’ve now got in touch with a different team via email, demanded ID, forced me to uncensor more sensitive details of my ID and falsely claimed they would initiate a return.

Faulty, inferior cheap parts used to ‘refurbish’ devices

I brought an iPad Air 13inch 2024 inch blue off of them and it all seemed ok until the iPad started turning itself off every 20 minutes and I had to force reset it to get it to work. I spoke with tech market and they advised me to go to Apple to have it diagnosed. I live at least an hour away from the nearest Apple Store and thought it was a bit strange why they wouldn’t just believe me so I made the trip to Apple and we discovered that they had used an inferior and faulty logic board in the device which was the root cause of the issues I was having. Tech market tried claiming it was under apples manufacturers warranty which the Genius Bar staff member (at Apple) shut down that claim instantly as they can work out straight away that’s it’s been tampered with and withdrew the warranty there and then. I then sent back the device ( at my own expense) and they did refund the device but I still paid £7 for initial delivery and £10 to send it back which I’m sure they are not going to cover. I wouldn’t use this company again due to the inferior components they are ‘refurbishing’ their devices with and I could not trust anything from their shop lasting.

Apple iphone

Brought an iphone the phone is in great condition cheap but l brought the wrong phone so need to buy a newer model as l can't update it
Over all the experience of buying the phone was great no complaints at all

Got value for the money

I got the iPad as I saw on the online store and received it in time. For quality wise, it’s a matter of time but there’s no worries because I know it’s a product from Apple.

Terrible Company to deal with - AVOID

Order took weeks & was only sent when I called to find out what happened to it.
Wrong item sent out, because they didn’t have the correct size so sent out the same but different size.
Charged me £4 for posting incorrect item back to them, even though I paid my own postage which cost me £3.50.
Was told by “ADAM” that he would send the correct size but different colour, but now getting TINA amongst others (obviously not their real names) sending emails with different reasons why they won’t send the correct item.
They even have several trustpilot accounts, (others have bad reviews but they don’t respond to those)
Absolutely gutted as it’s taken 3 weeks to get me nowhere at all.
Will stick to a reputable company.
Their loss however as my next purchase is a new laptop & I-pad - they’ve just lost the sale - don’t recommend this company.

*** was also threatened with legal action if I didn’t remove my review, have removed triggering words, but stand by what I say
