Amazing service

Chelsea and Olivia have been amazing throughout the process, as was Matthew with my initial call. They have made the whole process so easy and been super approachable and helpful the entire time, I can thank them enough, especially as a first time buyer!

Amazing company!

Amazing company!! I have been saving for my house with Tembo but recently found myself in a tight spot with unexpected vet bills. Customer service at Tembo have been super friendly and helpful and I was able to release some of my savings. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Service and Great Mortgage Outcome

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for the excellent service I’ve received from Dan and Tia.

From start to finish, the process was handled with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care. I was kept well informed at every stage, and any questions I had were answered promptly and thoroughly, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel much more manageable.

Thanks to their guidance and support, I was able to secure a mortgage at a very competitive rate, and I truly felt that my best interests were always the priority.

I would not hesitate to recommend their services to others and am very grateful for all their help.

They left us in the middle of our purchase

They dropped me in the middle of our house purchase.
So.. this review is completely unexpected.

Before this terrible experience, I LOVED Tembo. I have gone from a lifetime customer to them making me actually cry...

So I mortgaged my current flat with them great experience. This review is based on what happened to me today.

So Tembo went through the process with us to get a mortgage on a new house we are moving to.

It was all going well, until we got assigned a case manager where it became seemingly badly managed. And our case manager was 'unexpecidly' on leave at some point.

My solicitor emailed me to say it looked like our mortgage application was canceled. I phoned tembo and basically they didn't know what had happened. They said they would get back to me the next day but didn't.

A couple days later they called me and said that our mortgage application was cancelled by the lender, and they could no longer work with us AT all.

Literally no explanation on why it was cancelled, no extra resources to help us. And we were completely left on our own, £2k into our purchase process (solicitor fees and survey), and no pointers to other companies that could help us.

Not only that but if we decided to stay on our flat, they said they wouldn't want to help us even to remortgage here, when they did the mortgage her initially.

I have found a new broker, and they said that because of our circumstances the lender Tembo chose was not the right lender to go with. And even they had some sort of insight into why the lender might have cancelled us.

To top it all off, before this happened I created them a video review because I used to love them so much.

Overall, such a horrible experience and I genuinely believe it was possibly because of lack of communication from Tembos side, and not submitting documents they told us they wanted to submit.

They will probably reply to this saying it's their policy to drop anyone who has a canceled application. I get that, and although it sucks, create some sort of resource to help people in that situation rather than leaving them completely alone.

I had a great experience with Luke and…

I had a great experience with Luke and Gemma from Tembo. They have been very helpful helping me secure a mortgage for the purchase of my home. They guided me through the process and were extremely supportive.

Usually mortgages are a very stressful…

Usually mortgages are a very stressful situation to go through, but luckily I had Rachel and Emma to deal with it. They both were amazing from start to finish and made the experience stress free and extremely manageable. They are both absolute credits to the company and I could not recommend Tembo or Rachel and Emma strongly enough to anyone.

Delighted

Excellent support from Rhys when contacted with my problems. Professional and concise in answering my queries. Tried again and was able to set up my account as I am no tech wizard to say the least at 69! As recommended first tried bank transfer and happy it showed in Pending. Will continue to full transfer with confidence once cleared. Excellent ISA rate.

Download the app and am unable to sign up. Followed all the processes. It generates a security code which when entering does not work. Tried 7x every code generated not working. Customer service agents completely unhelpful including kameron and Heather. Sent screen shots of the problem. Told could be my internet connection or that I keep generating too many codes. I’m having to generate more codes due to the fact that each and every code does not work! Told to provide my photo ID and selfie done that and still not working. Now a new agent is contact telling me matter needs to be escalated. What a joke. Poor service, terrible app. Would not recommend. Agents sending me in swings and roundabouts, sending generic copy and paste messages asking to complete onboarding tasks which I’ve already completed. Not interested in resolving the matter just hoping I’ll go away by sending the same reply repeatedly. Not listening to what I’m saying.

From the initial meeting to discuss my remortgage through to securing a rate, the communication was flawless. They moved quickly and efficiently to ensure my rate was safely locked in. All whilst keeping the process calm and stress-free. I've already recommended them to family and friends and will be using them again in the future.
