⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) – Extremely Disappointing Experience with Gotenride Private Limited (Chikmagalur 2D/1N Package)
I had one of the most disappointing travel experiences with Gotenride Private Limited during their 2 Days / 1 Night Chikmagalur package. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering booking with them thoroughly verify the itinerary and their commitments before making full payment.
1. Failure to Cover the Promised Itinerary
The package itinerary clearly mentioned 10 sightseeing locations, but in reality, the trip covered only 4 places. More than half of the promised attractions were skipped without any valid explanation or alternative arrangement. This was a major disappointment and felt like false advertising.
2. Poor Planning of Mandatory E-Passes
Several tourist attractions in Chikmagalur require mandatory government-issued e-passes for entry. A professional travel operator should arrange these well in advance. However, Gotenride booked the e-pass only for half a day on the second day, making it impossible to visit many of the attractions included in the package. This clearly reflects poor trip planning and a lack of responsibility toward customers.
3. Full Payment Collected Before the Trip
The company collected 100% of the package amount before the trip started. Once the payment was completed, there appeared to be very little concern about delivering the services that had been promised. There was no accountability for the missed destinations or the poor planning.
4. Uncooperative Driver
The assigned driver was not customer-friendly or cooperative. Instead of making the journey enjoyable, it felt as though the driver was dictating the trip while we had to adjust to his preferences. We expected guidance, flexibility, and professional behavior, but unfortunately experienced the opposite.
Overall Experience
The trip was poorly organized, lacked proper coordination, and did not deliver what was promised. The combination of an incomplete itinerary, careless e-pass management, and unprofessional customer service resulted in a frustrating experience. A vacation should be relaxing and memorable for the right reasons—not stressful because of poor planning.
I hope Gotenride takes this feedback seriously and improves its planning, customer service, and operational standards. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Gotenride Private Limited for Chikmagalur tour packages.

From the booking process till the trip end everything went on smoothly. The customer service of the agency were quite helpful in solving all my quarry. The cab driver Mr. Suresh was courteous and awesome guide. The plus point was the toy train ride even tho it was last minutes booking they were able to provide tickets for us. If anyone is searching for travel agency you can go for this one with good faith.

Trip is very nice.hotels are nice but the breakfast they provided is not good. The driver is very good and he showed us all locations and very punctual and regarding food he took us to good restaurants.

This was my first solo trip, so safety was my biggest priority. I was a little skeptical about choosing Tenride, but they answered all my questions, helped me pick the right hotel and ride, and made the entire trip smooth and hassle-free.

The only issue I faced was with the hotel check-in. I reached Ooty around 7:30 AM, but my check-in was only at 12 PM. When I asked if there was any place where I could freshen up or use a washroom, I was told to wait until check-in. As a solo female traveler, this was a genuine concern. It would be great if Tenride could consider customers' arrival times while suggesting hotels or help arrange early check-in whenever possible.

Apart from that, everything was excellent. The driver assigned to my Ooty trip was professional, understanding, and made me feel safe throughout the journey.

Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Tenride to anyone looking for a safe and stress-free travel experience.

Liked the way the team provided the quotation giving the users a list of options to select from, like basic to premium and elite level options with embedded options to view the property pics , location etc.
Support from tenride team was on time, no delays on responses.
I will definitely will prefer tenride for future tours.

Trip arrangements are very good but small review regarding hotel at Wayanad, Hotel did not served for dinner or lunch due to off season. And the hotel was 36 km far from city center due to this we didn't find any vegetarian hotel or good hotel near our stay. Please make sure you book hotel near city centre within 5-10 km radius. Both the drivers were good and have a good knowledge of all the spots. Hotels could have been better considering the costs as competitors gives better options with AC accommodation.

We had a great experience with Tenride company during our Tamil Nadu trip. The entire tour was well planned and smoothly managed.
A special mention for our driver. His driving skills were excellent, and he was very polite, calm, and respectful throughout the journey. He made our travel comfortable and enjoyable.

The only problem was the information...please I request your company that share the proper information of buying tickets to traveler and everything that they have to arrange by themselves where traveler goes so that we don't get any problem in our budget !!

We have pleasant experience with tenride for our tour of kodaikanal and ooty . The tour guide Lakshman was excellent and made our tour memorable by his experience. The hotel locations were best especially the ooty one.

As a suggestion, the estimated travel timings could be made more realistic by factoring in necessary buffer time for essential breaks such as meals, restroom stops, and fuel refills - especially during long-distance travel.

A truly great and mesmerizing experience being my frist trip to the hill station. Was in awe seeing the sights of Ooty and great landmarks, along with the mountain railway . Would love to visit again

Great experience, managed to arrange and customise rooms according to our preferences for our stay. Driver Vimal is polite and we felt safe when he drives in ooty and coonor, really enjoyed the stay, I will definitely choose tenride again for all trips.
