TerraVista Land Estates Avis 

I received some out of state property via inheritance earlier this year. It's land I haven't visited since I was a child, so I really didn't know anything about the history of it.

I had received a very competitive offer via a TerraVista flyer, which was significantly higher than a previous offer we had received about a year earlier.

I called and spoke with Nick directly, and he was very friendly and professional with the offer. There was no pressure, and I had time to investigate the company before signing any paperwork.

After I decided to move forward with them, I signed the seller's agreement, and Nick began the process of finding a Title company, and got me in touch with his business partner, Olivia.

After an initial misstep with a Title company that was unfortunately outside the area of where the land was, TerraVista quickly pivoted and got us with a Title company close to both the property and the Clerk of Court, where gaining access to Title records was considerably easier.

The new Title company was quick and efficient, allowing both TerraVista and myself to close quickly.

I did have that initial hesitation to a flyer offering to purchase property, but after speaking with Nick and having the actual experience, I would have zero reservations in recommending TerraVista to anyone.

Dont fall for their folksy family sales pitch. This company will rip you off. They offer pennies on the dollar of your property’s real value. The other rip off companies are offering me 4 times as much. This isn’t a simple mistake this is predatory behavior. Be wary of companies offering you a cash offer. Be especially wary of this company or better yet just run away.

I inherited some lots of land in California when my father passed in 2022. It took me awhile to get motivated to sell them, and TerraVista's advertising arrived in the mail one day, so I researched them online before I reached out. Nick was quick to respond to my email, and requested a call to get more information. Talking to him was like talking to a friend I had known for years. He gathered information from me about the lots, then shared how the process would work moving forward. He took care of finding a title company to work with in the same county as the lots, and they also reached out to me quickly. We closed within a couple of months (earlier than anticipated), TerraVista took care of closing costs, and Nick followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. I'm very happy with how this process went!

TerraVista is not a "fly by night" company. Working with Nick and his team was refreshing! Straight forward communication and positivity was present throughout the process. Not every deal we encounter in real estate is "straight forward". Nick and his team are flexible and thought outside the box to help us overcome "speed bumps" that we encountered. Be very careful in dealing with this company!! They may try to buy your property for pennies on the dollar of it's real value as they did with me!! I just received a letter offering me $6000 for a property I purchased recently for $190,0000! That's crazy!! I'm wondering if they're ignorant of my property's real value or they're just hoping I am? In both scenarios it sends me a BIG message to stay far away from them! They even had the audacity to send a binding contract hoping, I assume, I would sign? I do question the legitimacy of a number of their 5 star reviews and wonder if they're fake as a number are written on the same calendar dates? I also question whether their main goal is to buy property from those who may not know the real value of their property? As someone with a background in real-estate acquisitions my free advise is to NEVER SIGN anything with anyone until you are fully informed of the real value of the property you own by someone, who's not connected to a letter writing scheme, until, you've consulted with a few licensed realtors in your area and are fully informed of your property's real value! To those who receive letters, don't be fooled by the "family owned business" sales pitch, it means nothing other than a cute sales pitch to get you to sell your property, for potentially (as tried with me) a fraction of it's real value.
