I knew I wanted to make a career transition, but I struggled to define my value, identify the right companies, communicate my experience effectively, and approach networking strategically.

The syllabus and methodology would benefit from a refresh — the current structure feels dated in parts and doesn't fully reflect the pace at which executive learning needs have evolved. A more contemporary, outcomes-driven curriculum would strengthen the offering considerably.

I'd also encourage a rethink on pricing and program design. Rather than stretching the process across numerous touchpoints to justify time and cost, the focus should be on tailoring the experience to what each individual genuinely needs. Value should come from depth and relevance, not from the number of sessions or the length of the engagement. Overselling the process rather than the outcome undermines trust and doesn't serve busy executives well.

Finally, integrating more advanced educational technology — adaptive learning tools, data-driven progress tracking, or interactive digital formats — would modernize the experience and make it more efficient and engaging for participants.

With these adjustments, this program has the potential to be a genuinely valuable offering for executives seeking focused, high-impact learning.

If you are looking to secure a VP or higher level position, this is an absolute necessity in today's environment. You will get firsthand, direct guidance on your online presence, application and positioning, interview skills, and where to spend time in your search and what will waste your time. This is done through direct coaching, online seminars, and daily "office hours" where you can get immediate answers to your questions. The job market is quickly evolving with AI, and this program will teach you how to navigate the new landscape and leverage those tools.

The team at AE does an exceptional job of engaging the unpublished job market, which I always knew was the 80% to the published 20% but needed assistance in finessing into this space.
My most impactful experience however was working with the interview prep team, particularly Chris Musano who does a truly exceptional job in this area.

I definitely traveled through the "Valley of Despair" but after talking with the top counselors at TAE, I received some timely coaching and the "flywheel" started spinning. Despite some frustration due to the job market, I ended up with 2 great job offers and some part-time consulting gigs - all as a result of finding opportunities in the "hidden job market". I certainly recommend that all executives invest in the program to learn skills that will benefit them for many years to come.

No value at all. The resume they wrote was laughable. I never was able to speak to the resume writer. The program over promised and under delivers. They teach you a few tricks with LinkedIn premium and WeConnect to automate outreach. Nothing you cannot study on YouTube and execute on your own and save the thousands they charge. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Ambitious Exec was an incredible resource during a very stressful time after being laid off. The lesson plans were so thoughtful, practical, and perfectly designed to help me update my resume and LinkedIn profile, refine my personal brand, and navigate the job market with confidence. Everyone I worked with was amazing — supportive, positive, and always available whenever I had questions or needed 1:1 guidance.

I especially loved the workshops, which gave me a chance to connect with other members who were also job searching. It was great to share ideas, get feedback, and feel part of a community going through similar challenges.

The only area that didn’t quite meet my expectations was the We-Connect networking program — it didn’t feel as valuable or effective as the rest of the experience. That said, Ambitious Exec absolutely set me up for success and gave me the confidence I needed to land my next role.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for structure, encouragement, and expert guidance and coaching in their job search! However, they will not find a job for you - you need to do the heavy lifting.
