Absolute nightmare
Absolute nightmare ! spent £100's on a new bathroom including whirlpool bath . Whilst having the bath fitted it was discovered one of the jets leaked . Contacted the manager and he said how does he know we haven't bumped it ! ,there was no other damage no knocks or marks it .This has gone on for weeks . We are left not being able to use the bath and the rest of the bathroom cant be completed until its fixed . I've also been told THE BATH STORE have no customer services ! hence why it keeps prompting you to individual stores and they have no complaints process that they will share !
I've never know such a disgraceful company and would really warn everyone not to buy from them !
total delivery and return policy fiasco
i found the store in Newcastle very helpful indeed, from the initial enquiry/order, we ordered our stuff, but found the short time we had to return any items not helpful at all. i contacted the store and made a date for our order to be delivered 1 whole month in advance, we received a mail from bathstore 1 week before delivery confirming the following Monday delivery so i booked the day from work as a holiday but on the Saturday before our delivery date of the Monday, we had a mail from dhl confirming the delivery on Tuesday and so we missed the delivery and had to accept it on Friday 5 days later, this put our builder behind, who had to find other work, which meant we had to wait another week for him to start, this then scuppered our return policy. when we checked all of our stuff we found, that the "two in one" adhesive was actually "general purpose clear sealant" that could be bought for £2.50 per tube and we were charged £10 per tube, we were also left with two full packs of tiles and other items, simply because they screwed up on delivery but stuck rigid to the returns policy, so I'm out of pocket over £300, because of their cock up.
i cant fault bathstore or the staff for the pre order service or the help we had up to installation, but i would strongly recommend you have a builder order exactly whats needed or you will be stuck with it for landfill, or the best thing to do would be to order all Sealants, tiles, grout, glue, trims and boards from somewhere you can return them to if you end up with to much. All reputable diy stores and tile companies will accept back all returns as long as the packs are sealed, the very least you can expect would be a credit note.

yes i would for the design and the furniture (even that i would seek other prices) but never for the other items.

Dreadful customer service - Avoid at all costs
I have received appalling customer service from start to finish from the Bathstore Warrington.
First of all items were missing from the delivery, then the delivery was failed to be made 3 times. Then an item was missing, then this delivery was missed twice. And we are still no closer to having our bathroom completed.
We have received no apology from the store, and Rich the Store Manager is setting a poor example for poor customer service to the rest of the employees.
I have never had such a poor experience with a company and will certainly be warning others away from it. Just wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from yourselves.
We have been 4 weeks without a bathroom, problem not resolved and no offer for compensation or an explanation as to why.

Delay after delay and very poor communication...
I visited the Bathstore in the summer of 2016 and ordered a bathroom suite in September. Several mistakes were made by the Bathstore Fulham sales staff who processed my order so the installation kept being delayed and eventually I received an installation date just before christmas which was not convenient so it was postponed to the 4th of January.
On the 4th of January the items were due to be delivered and although the installer and I were at the premises we saw the Bathstore van drive way without the delivery claiming they could not access the property whilst big vans from Travis Perkins use that driveway on a daily basis. So they came back the next day but the installer (appointed by The Bathstore) did not check the delivery so many items were missing and the work which was supposed to take max. 10 days took in the end almost 6 weeks to finish. Furthermore 8 boxes and bags of wrongly delivered items (at some point I had 3 wrongly delivered toilets in my lounge but still not the one I ordered, so no new toilet for over 3 weeks) took 2 months to get collected and 2 bags are still in my carport and are now expected to be collected on 13/3 after several cancelled attempts.
What's more I was given the contact details of the installer and the Regional Installation Manager before the installation. Despite several attempts to try to reach the Regional Installation Manager I was assigned I could not get hold of him. I was later told he had moved on and was given another contact who was extremely uncommunicative and then also left the company. I have still not heard from their successor 2 months later.
This has been a very frustrating experience and I'm still waiting for the refund of a faulted splash panel that I was promised and the 5 years warranty for the work done.
A few hiccups but a lovely company
This is a quickie... I just wanted to write a positive review about the company that fitted my bathroom.
The Southgate store were lovely and took their time and were a pleasure to do business with.
The workers did the job, and although we did have a bit of a problem, the aftercare team and especially Peter Parker and florin (fitter) were excellent. I walk into my bathroom very day and I just love it.
Thanks bathstore.. 4 stars well deserved.
Easy to charge but painfull to return or refund!!
Products of good quality but extremely poor customer services from store at norwich you pay £3000, deliver you products which we asked to be cancelled and get charged before delivery and then when been delivered damaged products which you cant then refund as its our responsibility to take store and you cant get hold Mr Liam as he is on holidays!!
Sales before service
Bought two Demi close coupled toilets with two soft close soho seats in the same transaction in store, they being fully aware I'd discard the cheap seats they came with and use the better ones. On installation, there was nothing we could do to get the seats to stay up, and angling the cistern would have put stress on the seal and risked a leak. Visiting the store, it took the manager 10 attempts to get the original seat to stay up. They offered to refund the seats, despite there being nothing wrong with them. They said what did I expect for £59, as if products they sell don't have to work. Called customer service and Sophie Curtis was very helpful and efficient in securing us a refund for the toilets and the plumber's fees. I've ended up happy despite the hassle and dealing with a potty training toddler who's at risk of a toilet phobia!
painfully slow to refund
Ordered a shower trap online which it turns out we didn't need. Took it back to the local branch and was told they had to contact head office for a refund code. That was 5 days ago. I have rung the shop twice but it seems they are still waiting for a code to be able to refund tbe money. Surely a £19 refund should be a simple process?
