My issue is with the delivery company…

My issue is with the delivery company (Evri) rather than the gin box. My last delivery was with the Royal Mail and arrived about 3-4 days after my ordera with clear tracking all the time. However, Evri took 10 days to deliver this order and their tracking was almost non existent, so I had no clear idea as to when to expect it. If you had a postal preference I would definitely advise Royal Mail….

Able to cancel my membership without …

Able to cancel my membership without complications. Adviser Anna was polite and courteous and dealt with my cancellation request efficiently, following up immediately with confirmation email.
Thank you for your excellent customer service

customer service rep good but overpriced!

The customer service representative was very helpful however the simple fact that you can sign up with a few clicks but you need to not only email to get the help desk number and then call to cancel your subscription is big red flag for me. If you can sign up entirely online you should be able to cancel online also. The box I received had a few nice options but was very overpriced. Over £30 for 2 20cl bottles, some syrup and a few snacks is very expensive.

We understand your point around cancellations and appreciate the feedback. We know members can sign up online quickly, and while cancellations are completed over the phone so we can gather feedback, answer any final questions and ensure everything is wrapped up properly, we appreciate that some members would prefer an online option.

On value, we’d just like to clarify that all of our boxes meet or exceed the advertised value guarantee. If you received one of our introductory/free taster boxes, these are valued at over £30 (typically around £35+) and include not only the gin, but paired mixers, cocktail ingredients, snacks and additional content.

We’re also proud that many members highlight the quality, variety and discovery aspect of the boxes in their reviews, particularly the curated drinks, mixers and treats included.

That said, value is personal and we appreciate you giving us a try and sharing your thoughts.

Bianca on the phone was very helpful…

Bianca on the phone was very helpful with cancelling my subscription. I did not realise I was signing up for a monthly box when I redeemed a free box after receiving a voucher for it on another website. Really wish I could have just cancelled online, having to call was a bit of an inconvenience.

Cancellation

Spoke to Des Jones on the phone and he made cancellation a straightforward process. However it would be easier to cancel membership through the website rather than having to make a phone call.

I called to cancel my membership

I called to cancel my membership, as I am not a real gin lover.( I like one now and again). Desmond, who I spoke to, was very polite, and didn't push me to continue, which would encourage me to take out membership again if I change tastes.

subscription trap impossible to cancel online.

They tempt you in with a free box and make it impossible to cancel without finding your way through a maze of the website and then calling up.

Hi Paul, We’re sorry to hear you felt cancelling was difficult. To cancel a membership, we do ask members to call us, and our average call time, including wait time is around 2 minutes.

We choose to speak directly with members so we can gather feedback, answer any final questions, and make sure everything is resolved properly. There are no hidden tricks or hoops to jump through, and we’re always transparent about how cancellations work when joining.

We genuinely appreciate the feedback though, as we know convenience matters and we’re always looking at ways to improve the experience for our members.

I sent an email, requesting cancellation and got almost an immediate response. I phoned the customer service department and spoke with a very polite gentleman, Des Jones. He helped me with the cancellation (after offering a generous discount) unfortunately my circumstances have changed. If they change again for the better, there is a fairly good chance that I will be back.

Straightforward no problem

Straightforward no problem. I would have preferred to be able to cancel online via my account instead of having to make a phone call but it wasn't a problem really! Anna was to the point and efficient.
