Misleading goods description, Horrible customer service
Purchased two meters of so called 'ChaNNel boucle fabric' (double N, as it stands on the Sellers web site)
On the web site the fabric was described as 'Knitted'. Upon receipt of the package, I learned that fabric was not anywhere near knitted. It was loosely woven, therefore did not fit for my project purpose.
I immediately contacted the Seller requesting to sort out the issue. No response. Second attempt after a few days. The seller replied back that they do not accept returns and do not refund money.
The web site does not have any Customer Service page, no information about the shop's policy, etc.
Apparently, all of the boucle fabrics on the web site are listed as 'knitted' - sewists know that the difference between knitted and woven is fundamental. So, buyers are being misled into purchasing the goods they would not be able to use, do not have any chance to get their money back.
How would you call this other than a fraud?
Had to remind the seller of the Customer Protection Act. Third email after which the Seller got quiet. No replies, nothing!
Fourth email requesting to deal with the issue. Eventually, got a courtesy of their reply advising that 'as a rule we do not refund cut fabric' and suggesting that, despite multiple breaches of the consumer rights from their side, I have to pay for the postage out of my own pocket.
Not a single word of apologies, no willingness to cooperate. Terrible experience!
