Love the Hills of St. John. Great views, friendly staff, the villa was large with good size bedrooms, clean and very comfortable. I hope to return soon.

The Hills St John is a beautiful community in a wonderful location on St. John.
The accommodations were top notch with all the comforts of home. I will definitely be back!

I would have given five stars but the mattress in one of the bedrooms was broken down and needs to be replaced.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The villa was even nicer than in the photos, the views were beautiful everywhere, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Common areas were nicely kept and functional and we never heard the other guests. We loved having cat visitors the whole trip! Would definitely stay here again.

We had many issues with the villa, Papaya, that we rented. The air condition leaked onto the bed in the main bedroom. The air condition in the main area would not even work. And when addressed with the property company, we were told that that was normal and that the rooms a/c would cool the main area which it in fact was false. In one of the other guest rooms we found that it had not been cleaned under the bed in a while after trying to chase down a bug in the room and moving the bed. There was empty water bottles and dust bunnies the size of cats under there. We were also told that the main French doors leading out to the patio area were broken and would not open due to the locking mechanism being broken off. Any one of these smalls things could have been overlooked, but all combined really put a damper on our trip and the expectations we had of the property.

We absolutely love having our vacation stay at The Hills. We have stayed here two different times and have had wonderful experiences. We plan to vacation here when we come stay on the island in the future.

This was our 2nd time staying at The Hills St. John. The villa on our 1st visit was wonderful, but I have to share that this time around we were a bit disappointed with the villa. It was VERY tired, and in much need of some TLC. The indoor living room furniture was clearly worn out and had holes, the mattress in the master bedroom was like sleeping in a bowl, the outdoor patio furniture was questionable if it was safe to sit in as it was completely sun rotted and falling apart and inside walls were in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. Of course we always LOVE St. John and our visits there and usually love returning to our villa at the end of each day to relax and enjoy, but this Villa just doesn't bring that relaxing quality at the end of the day in its condition.

We booked 3 villas for a family vacation and wedding in April 2022. The villas were beautiful, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the views of Cruz Bay,, STT and all the islands were EXCEPTIONAL! We had very high expectations based on the website pictures and our expectations were fully met. We gathered poolside to party, had family breakfasts, baby equipment as needed,, wedding photos, gym workouts and private relaxing time as needed. Short car or taxi ride into Cruz Bay for nightlife and family trips to gorgeous beaches. We all left hoping to return someday.
Only suggestion would be for poolside bar/food service on Sunday.

The view was lovely. Our villa was a bit tired. Leaky faucet, towel bars coming loose from the wall, damaged wood in the kitchen, an uncomfortable bed and a sofa that has seen it’s better days. Liked the beach chairs and cooler.

Excellent All Around. Location is very convenient to Cruz Bay, yet quiet at the same time. Views are perfect - St Thomas, sunsets, and all the boats coming and going, can't beat it. The accommodations are clean, modern, and comfortable. Response to any concern was quick and effective, couldn't expect anything more! A great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for that turn-key luxury experience.

The Hills Saint John March 2022

My husband and I worked with The Hills for our wedding weekend this past March, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. We had all our guests stay at The Hills (individuals rented out various villas) and held our dinner rehearsal at the Clubhouse, and wedding reception at the terrace. Working with The Hills team members was a positive experience - communication was always timely and the entire booking process (for both villas and wedding events) was smooth and easy. Any question or concern I had leading up to our visit was immediately addressed by The Hills team member, and they went above and beyond my expectations on guest services. Additionally, upon arrival, we were personally met by a team member and checked in to our villa - again, exceeding expectations on guest services.

The villas and the property itself is gorgeous. St. John is a beautiful island with many beautiful accommodations, but The Hills is top tier. The view overlooking Cruz Bay ensures every guest can watch the sunset from their villa each evening. The villas are incredible - spacious, modern, private, and accommodating. From the large living areas to gather with family and friends, to the high end kitchens and appliances, these villas have everything one would need to truly relax and enjoy vacation. I also would like to make note of how well built these villas are- even though you may have the villa below or above you occupied, there is zero volume or noise that travels through the walls.

The Hills grounds are also well maintained and kept - the landscaping and florals are beautiful and the caretakers should be commended for all they do to maintain the villas and the grounds of the gated community.

The offerings at The Hills make the stay worthwhile. Having the Clubhouse, which offers delicious food and drinks to guests, is wonderful for those who maybe want to stay at The Hills and relax by the pool for the day instead of traveling to a beach or into town. Tony (the bartender & main chef at the Clubhouse) is wonderful - he was extremely accommodating and attentive, even with our large group. We held our diner rehearsal at the Clubhouse and worked with Tony to plan a taco bar - the food was absolutely incredible. Tony went above and beyond - he had everything set up for us when we arrived, kept refilling the stations as needed throughout the night, made sure guests were satisfied, all while being the main bartender for the group as well.

Lastly, I would like to make a note regarding our wedding reception. I cannot emphasize just how fabulous working with The Hills was for our wedding reception. The upstairs terrace, lower pool area, and clubhouse allowed for a cocktail hour at sunset, a seated dinner for guests, and dinner and dancing under the stars. The view from the terrace and being able to look over Cruz Bay as the sun set and into the night was amazing. I highly suggest to anyone looking to hold an event in St. John, whether that be a wedding, a birthday, etc., to consider The Hills as your venue. It was a wonderful and amazing experience, and I look forward to working with The Hills and the team again in the future.

Best Sunsets, close to town and well situated to get to the beaches and stay in a luxurious villa- great for couples or families. I am a frequent traveler to St. John and so grateful for the Hills- Management is 5 star from Nicole, Carly, Paula & Kathy you won't be disappointed Thank you all for being so accommodating with my last-minute urges to get on the island! I highly recommend the Hills!

Clean, comfortable villa with beautiful views and a well stocked kitchen. Would have liked an extra blanket or two, but that didn’t ruin our amazing trip!
