Ordered an item over 9 months ago, keep getting fobbed off with excuses about wiating for stock and so on, finally asked for a refund and was asked for my paypal address, they ignored my reply. Dispute filed, depending on the outcome ill be talking to trading standards.

The 1916 Irish Volunteers uniform I ordered is excellent reenactor quality, much heavier fabric than I expected, and a great quality Volunteers hat. It was all packed very well for international mailing and arrived in perfect condition.
It was missing the leather belt I ordered, but they're sending that along to correct that oversight.
They've been very prompt in answering all my inquiries. Good product, good service.

I gave a negative review recently. I ordered a ADRIC cap but never received the item. A fund has been obtained and I have been asked to delete my negative review. While I am not averse to this I cannot access my review ! My review was objective and factual at the time.
I have attempted to delete it but to no avail. I bring this matter to your attention.

I hired a WW2 helmet for a short film. Mark responded quickly to my questions and was really helpful. The helmet arrived earlier than expected and looked great - super authentic and good value. Would recommend

I needed a uniform very quickly for a reenactment/living history event, I called the History Bunker and they had a full uniform package in my sizes delivered to me within a day of sending the money over. Great , keen and friendly service

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. I rented two WWII soldier uniforms and the quality was fantastic — really authentic, well looked after and exactly what we needed. The service was just as good: friendly, helpful and made the whole process really easy. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

Over the last couple of years I have bought a few items from the History bunker and I have never been disappointed with the service and the quality of the items I bought. From now I will only be buying from this company as I can always be sure that I will receive a item of high quality and which is historically accurate.

Brilliant company, easy to deal with and extremely knowledgeable about history. Great selection of uniforms, hired two uniforms for 1940s weekends from them and both times complemented on hoe good they looked.

I ordered a Full Dress Tunic in June 2025. The service at the measuring was exceptionally good. Sadly, the 6-8 week guideline was not adhered to, and my item was finally delivered in March 2026. The item material was of very good quality, but there were several errors that needed correcting. The owner assured me that these would be rectified.

However, I have had no contact since making payment, despite repeated attempts. A second item that was ordered (a Frock Coat) has been completely forgotten and I am very much at the stage that I would not recommend to anyone to use this company.

Whilst the first impression was good, the length of time to actually receive the item, including the feeling that it had been forgotten about until the last minute, and subsequent lack of any rectification of errors, despite promises, leaves me with a very poor impression of this company.

If you actually want to receive your leather items, look elsewhere.
I’ve been waiting for almost six months, dealing with endless promises just to "check on the order." Then came repeated emails claiming the order was fully ready, only to be followed by excuses blaming delays on the war in the Middle East (not even joking).
Excuses kept piling up, emails were ignored half the time, and "tomorrow" was always pushed back again and again. In the end, I had to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back(now I'm waiting)

I waited 18 weeks for my order but when it arivved i got the wrong visor. I ordered a waffen ss officer visor but got a black algemeine ss visor. I shot them an email telling about my situation an they were quick to respond saying i could keep the one i got and they would send the correct one. I then kept messaging them after some days on when they would send it and if i could get the shipping info. But they wouldnt answer. Its been 9 weeks now and they still havent responded to any of my mails . Wouldnt recomend i had to go t a event without any visor on…
