I ordered a difficult to find WW2 era police uniform to wear at 1940's events and was pleased with quality of the tailoring and the Melton wool material..No adjustments required anywhere, either the sleeves or trouser width/length. I'm sure it'll look great when it has been badged up and the buttons changed to the Constabulary I will be portraying. It took a little longer than expected to arrive, but this wasn't entirely unexpected given the bespoke nature of the work undertaken..where are you going to find an original one that isn't either tiny or ravaged by moths?!..Mark was responsive to emails during the process and kept me up to date when asked..The jacket & trousers arrived securely packed via DHL.

I'm Stuart Steel the Community Engagement Officer for the Royal British Legion in the Northwest. I had just received permission to film a short documentary at a Premier League Club with an extremely short turn around time. Mark and the team pulled out all the stops to support the RBL in this project, supplying genuine high quality uniforms and exceptional service in probably one of the busiest weeks of the year (VE Day). The custom made Battledress jacket is in a different league to those offered off the peg by other companies.
It's lighter, better stitched, not as hairy and very very comfortable! Also a more accurate material colour.

An absolutely amazing company. As a massive Canada/ RCMP/ Due South fan I’ve been looking for a red serge tunic for years and found one here. From start to finish Mark and his team were polite, professional and just wonderful. The tunic itself is beyond amazing, made to measure and they even put on a rank pad I’d previously purchased. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone and will most likely be using them again.

I ordered the buckled Officer boots, they arrived, however when put on the buckle snapped off. I want to reiterate that it was not Marks fault but the supplier. Mark has been absolutely wonderful, being responsive and overall excellent with my experience, agreeing that there was a problem, he was absolutely fine with giving a refund, and with his generosity and overall kindness is making me a new pair of Officer boots, so I have to give him a 5 star review because unfortunate things happen that are out of one’s control and we’re all human and things happen but it’s the way we deal with the said problems that define how good of a person we are and if they deserve 5 stars.

I enquired recently about hiring a uniform for my final project in college and I was really impressed with the speed that Mark got back to me and communicated with me. Equally fast was the delivery time, and also the uniform was considerately sent early to allow me to make sure everything was right. The uniform itself was really high quality, very accurate and it all fit really well!

I hired a RAF Wing Commander uniform at short notice. My enquiry was responded to very promptly and the order was sent out quickly after I had provided all of the necessary details.

My first purchase from the History Bunker was some 5 years ago. I was looking for a pair of WW2 RAF flying boots so after a some internet searching, I came across the History Bunker, so I called them and spoke to Mark.
Mark was very helpful about sizing and fit, I was very lucky that he had my size in stock and I received the boots in 24 hours and they were perfect, still going strong 5 years later.

Have had and worn many RAF reproduction uniforms over the years from other retailers out there and never really been happy with the cut and the look, I decided that I would have a uniform made for me, but if I was going this route I wanted it to look as close as possible to a 1940s RAF uniform worn in the Battle of Britain. So I contacted Mark directly at the History Bunker. Mark listened to what I wanted and worked with me to make my RAF officers uniform tailored to me with the additions.
About two months later I received my Uniform and Mark certainly delivered everything I wanted including the pocket watch pocket in the tunic waist, all the darts in tunic above the chest pockets and the quality of the work to produce this uniform was outstanding. I cannot thank Mark enough.

Feb this year I went back to The History Bunker as I wanted Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Battle dress uniform and again Mark could not of been more helpful and 8 weeks later it arrived and again I could not have been more delighted.

The service I have had from Mark at the History Bunker has been excellent and I have certainly enjoyed our chats on the phone and via email.

Bought a Gestapo jacket back in 2020.
Had to wait a while to get it made.
But it was worth the wait, and the money.
I wore, and still do, this jacket almost every day, and after 5 years it is still in good shape.

I purchased a leather WW1 Royal Flying Corps jacket, and after not having to wait a terribly long time I received it. To my surprise, they had used a much higher quality leather in the materials than I was expecting. The jacket is extremely comfortable, very durable and well put together. It's possibly the best quality reproduction that I have ever purchased, on top of being something I can probably be comfortable in when it snows. 10/10 will order more things from them in the future.
