Rude and Dishonest
This review is for the Cataldo Square location. Following is a synopsis of an email sent to their general Admin:
I had a bad experience with your front desk admin, Hannah. I overheard that the office would be closed on Saturdays until further notice. I was not otherwise informed about the office closure situation, and there were no signs posted. I asked about the possibility of carrying over one appointment to the following month to account for the closure, since I live 30 miles south-west of town (Cataldo is the closest location). Without hearing my full request, Hannah interrupted by telling me that it was not an option. I asked to speak to an office manager who might have the ability to override, she denied me access to anyone, until finally belligerently telling me that a remote manager would get with me within seven days, yet I tried to point out to her that I only had four days to use one more appointment, yet they were closed two of those days and I was out of town the other two.
Hannah apparently called a “team lead” and flat out lied three times as I stood right in front of her, aghast at her blatant lies– for all in the office to hear. She told the “team lead” that I said "I have a life" and "unwilling to drive to another location" and said that I “threatened to post on every social media site”. None of those were true. Although I did say that if I had to fill out their in-house complaint form then wait seven days for a response, then I might as well exert the same effort to simply post a Google review – not EVERY social media site... On the other two items, I stated no such thing. Hannah flat out lied. And she dared to tell me she was using a “figure of speech” when I confronted her.
Needless to say, I cancelled upon the first opportunity to do so.
I visited the joint in Marina del Rey
I visited the joint in Marina del Rey, California just an hour ago. The front desk woman was rude and when I filled out the form incorrectly in choosing my option, she told me I was denied. She said it could not be changed. I was looking forward to finding a good chiropractor that would be able to adjust my neck and back. What I didn't know until I read many reviews is that most reviews were not good. I couldn't find a 5 star review. The front desk woman has no idea what customer service looks like. She rolled her eyes at me and when I called her our on that, she made no apology. All I wanted was a good adjustment and didn't make it far enough to get past the front desk. I do not recommend The Joint in Marina del Rey.
Beware of unqualified doctors
I’ve been going to this business for yrs but as of late they have been going down hill.. as someone described it’s like Russian roulette every time you walk into one of these places it’s always a new doctor and for the third time now I’ve been injured by a young buck being way too aggressive on my back and chest and have been unable to work for two weeks and am in so much pain Im now gonna have to go get x-rays to find out what damage has been done, which of course I’ll have to pay for. I travel a lot but tend to be in the same places but yet always a new doctor every time i go back. I find somebody I like they seem to leave and go somewhere else..
I do not recommend this place at all
I do not recommend this place at all. They want you to sign an agreement so they can keep charging you perpetually. My husband failed victim of these professional out of town scammers. They had him signed an agreement for 2-months and kept billing him for 2.5 years. He only used their services a total of 3 times for the first month, and since their customer service is very transactional and their chiropracting abilities were disappointing and immemorable, he did not care to come back. They never helped him with his back pain , but they did scammed him for over 1K in services that were never provided. Be very careful with this "business" and save your money because they WILL NOT help you feel better. If you need a good chiropractor go to "Access Chiropractor". The owner actually talks to you. They offer therapy for pain. It is $40.
This place is nothing but a scam
This place is nothing but a scam. Did you get their monthly membership, you have to fill out a piece of paper to discontinue it. I called to ask about that and they said no we'll go ahead and cancel it over the phone. I went almost two years thinking it was canceled and found out they took over $1,900 during that time. So I was told to email corporate and they said they checked the phone records in that I never called. But they never asked what phone number I called from. Pretty funny huh? Bunch of liars is all it is. They're just bone crackers. I had to quit my membership because they wouldn't handle an insurance claim because they're not qualified to do it. That should tell you something also.
Tricity was super kind and Dr
Tricity was super kind and Dr. lively addressed all my concerns as well as providing extra insight into how to best manage my pain. I felt heard and and like Dr. Lively did a thorough assessment. Overall, great experience!

The best experience I’ve had especially for the price. One month is one copay with my insurance. The patient care is incredible I always feel heard and cared for. Worth the try!!!
I answered an add on Instagram
I answered an add on Instagram that offered a type of treatment that stretches your spin for an incredibly low price But after I arrived I was given a question are to fill out included allowing their company to check my bank credit and debit account and spam me with emails and adds. When I refused to sign it the chiropractor told me the page in which I refused to sign was just a permission page to allow them to examine me and when he looked at it closer he realized it was the next page and then after a sort inquiry he told me there was no machine at his store that did what I applied to for the special they advertised. Before I left I made sure they deleted any information they collected. I'm pretty sure that if you advertise a service that you can't provide or ever intended to provide I believe that's known as fraud and should be reported to the better business bureau.
Total disrespect!
So I went in today and waited 30 minutes only to have a new patient who arrived after me get taken back before me. When I questioned the receptionist, she said the doctor made a mistake. I told her to inform the doctor of the error and that I needed to leave. The doctor said he had already taken the patient back and would see her first. How is it that they won't even let you step outside to grab water without losing your place in line, yet the doctor values someone else's time over mine? When the doctor finally approached me, he asked if I wanted an adjustment or not, and if I didn't, I could cancel my membership for all he cared. Well, I did - canceled my membership!
Dr Howard stated he needs clearance for…
Dr Howard stated he needs clearance for my neck on an ultrasound which makes no sense. He is too damn causious. I told him the carotid artery is 50-60 percent blocked I will not get the results till monday. it would be different if I was going to have surgery or a stent just a report should be good enough. This is the joint chiropractor at 7369 w bell please have his manager call me at 602-751-8602 thanks
Shame on you
I’ve been going to The Joint for about five years, predominantly to put slipped ribs back into place. This is an excruciatingly painful condition and putting the ribs back in place is agonizing. I choose The Joint for this process because they have weekend and late hours during the week that many chiropractic offices cannot provide. I cannot predict or control when my ribs slip out of place, and I need the ease and convenience of some place with extended hours.
I went to The Joint yesterday morning to get ribs put back into place. The Chiropractor began his adjustment and the first two maneuvers were manageable, but on the third maneuver, I gasped in pain. It was not exorbitantly loud, but I did make a noise. The Chiropractor then told me “if you’re going to be loud, I’m going to have to ask you to leave.” I told him I was sorry, but that the pain caught me off guard and it was just a natural reaction. Keep in mind that the Chiropractor, myself, and the receptionist were the only three people in the entire practice, so it’s truly not like I was disturbing anyone. And truthfully, I can assure you that I must not be the only person that has ever made a noise during a painful adjustment for a condition that’s excruciating to begin with. Then the chiropractor went on to tell me that it’s in my chart that I am difficult. I literally said excuse me what does that mean? He proceeded to tell me that it has been recommended to me to come multiple times a week for adjustments and that I don’t listen. The reason why I don’t come multiple times a week is my philosophy is that you can be over adjusted, it is not covered by insurance and can get cost prohibitive. But let me clarify something. Just because I don’t do exactly what I’m recommended to do does not make me difficult. It makes me free thinking and I have the right to do what I think is best for myself.
My question to The Joint is why in the world would you ever make a customer who is paying you to do a job, feel so embarrassed, ashamed, and mortified when they are already at their weakest moment because it hurts to even breathe?
Anyone who is in the service industry needs to fully understand that it is your customers who keep you in business and you are working for us. I will no longer ever return to The Joint, and it will be my mission to tell anyone and everyone I have ever spoken with about chiropractic adjustments to never again enter your premises.
I needed your skills, your compassion and your empathy and I got none of those things. You are an incredibly repulsive excuse for a business establishment and I would like nothing more than for you guys to go out of business. You should truly be ashamed of all of yourselves.
I have never been difficult, disrespectful, unappreciative, or unkind. I also have never taken the time to write a review. However, this exchange was so abysmal that I felt like it was my mission and my duty to let everybody else know about this experience.
Shame on you!
Don’t go to the JOINT chiropractors in…
Don’t go to the JOINT chiropractors in Colorado as they are horrible and if you have a certain area to work on, they don’t worry about that area they just cracked your whole body and neck. They lie and they don’t care about helping you out. Don’t go to these chiropractors!!!!!
Be consistent with your program.
Dr. Copper at the Joint on Eastern in las Vegas has been treating me for cramping in the lower back and hips. I’m a 69 year old golfer, and have never been able to make a full turn in the winter. I have been pain free for the last 6 months. Not having to take pain killers before golf. To get results I believe that you have to be consistent with your program. I go every week.

I'm very disappointed of join chiropractor doctors how they waisted all your visits with out any positive results. My neck and hands are worse instead the improvement 😞😞
Quick check in
Quick check in, great at explaining any question asked, and did a great job adjusting my neck.
I’m extremely disappointed with The…
I’m extremely disappointed with The Joint Chiropractic’s cancellation policy. Requiring customers to cancel in person is an unnecessary and frustrating hurdle. This feels like a deliberate attempt to make it harder for people to leave.
On top of that, the overall experience has not justified the hassle. In today’s age, businesses should prioritize customer convenience, and this outdated policy reflects poorly on their approach to service. I would not recommend The Joint to anyone unless they change these practices.

I used the $29 introductory rate visit which required that I agree to 2 months of membership at $89 per month and would include some additional visits. I had to sign many forms to get this. The receptionist did not mention that they would continue charging my card until I actively cancelled my membership though I understood it was just for the 2 required months. They charged my card 5 times before I realized they were doing this and then I cancelled my membership. BEWARE!!! 10-7-24 first visit
Very bad experience
Very bad experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Businesses should provide customer care and service, as well as live customer service.
Save your money go to a professional business, it’s your health and wellbeing.
No more
When I first started using this place I loved it. They didn't try to sell you anything, they made you aware of packages they had but wasn't pressured, just went in, checked in, got adjusted, paid and left. Now it seems to be a commissioned sales thing. If you don't buy a package you have to fill out paperwork, and almost scolded for not buying into the package, made to wait until all that have packages are seen... I will no longer be spending my money with these people.
Bad experience all around
The chiropractor rushed me the whole time, didn’t listen to what I was saying, and strangely though my form asked what my job is and he was looking at it, he got it wrong. Then he asked me how long I thought I’d have to come in before I found relief. Why would I know that? He was hands on with me for about 30 seconds. Definitely never going back. I went to the Brooklyn location.
