They really qualified as a zero stars with the exception of the Dr was was genuinely concerned after he potentially broke my husbands rib in the adjustment. Now for the front desk witch….... she was super unfriendly when we got there, shooting us disgusted looks while we were waiting. Then when we left the Dr gave him an ice pack because he was sure he had broken his rib and knew he was in pain. During the checkout process the super unfriendly front desk person who should not be in customer service, starts pushing the packages on him. Mind you at this point we are considering whether to even come back. He tells them that if he decides to come back he will consider the package at that point. She looks at him and says well if you don’t want a package then I can’t let you have the ice pack! I said seriously? He just was adjusted and the Dr potentially broke his rib. She said in a very snotty way sorry Ice packs are only for paying package members. Customer service goes a long way, especially in getting repeat customers. The joint would’ve been great for him since is nationwide and he’s an OTR driver. Instead this was our first and our last visit and I will make sure everyone knows what happened. Management should really look into whether said person is really beneficial to their daily business or whether they could find an actual customer service oriented and friendly face for their customers

I was going to the Joint in Tampa for about a year. I have wicked migraines and neck issues. Well I can honestly say what a huge mistake it was to ever go there. It’s like playing roulette with your spine. I got someone who didn’t care, and they adjusted my neck aggressively, and now it has damage so much so I am looking at possible surgery. My pain is now thru the roof most days, and I cannot fix it. Nothing gives me relief. These people are absolute not to be trusted! Huge mistake! I was in far better shape before them. Now I have a whole new level

I would give them no stars if possible. So I paid more than 100 for 7 visits . I only went there for six visits because instead of feeling better I was feeling even worst. I was in a lot of pain. They take no x-rays, so how do they know exactly what you have? I feel robbed. To the point I was charge 89 dollars automatically from my card for the next month. I was never told that. Requested a refund and she told me that they will call the manager. They refused to give me a refund !!!All they care is taking people’s money. Best in health? Best in taking people’s money. I’m already seeing another chiropractor, and they even told me that a lot people already complained about this place too. I would suggest to request a copy of whatever they are giving you to sign. Weird that they don’t give you that right? What does that tell you? They don’t care if you feel better or not it’s all about money!!!!
About walk-ins too, they might be closed. I would suggest you call first to see if they are open.
I wish I could’ve seen Erin Stevenson review from this place earlier. I just went through the same thing too.
Unprofessional
I was very disappointed with The Joint in Livonia… better yet Dr. Scott. I was a first time patient and was 30 minutes early for my appointment as they requested. When I was there I learned they take walk ins as well as scheduled appointments. 1 gentleman walked in and was out in 10 minutes while trying to get checked in with the super chatty receptionist. Then while explaining the office and policies 2 more people walked in and she ushered them back and continued our check in with paperwork. So my 12:15pm appt time came and went while the couple was in the back discussing wisdom teeth, the fight last night and even favorite pro wrestlers for another 15 minutes. The receptionist heard me tell my daughter they don’t have much longer before I leave because to me you can’t get chiropractor adjustments while laughing and talking to each other. So another 15 minutes past and I just left without my adjustment and while they were still holding a full conversation. It was very unprofessional to have patients waiting whom had scheduled appointments while your back there chatting it up for 45 minutes. Not a good impression for the doctor who just started at this clinic.

Do not go with them and give credit card number. I have really bad experience in person and charging from the credit card. I did 3 visits not effective at all. Next month I noises that they are charging from my card. When I ask them they told me to come in person and sign the cancelation form.
Required Card on File
I love the chiropractor that I see at the location in Baytown, TX. However, their business practices are shady. They don't accept cash, and you are required to leave a bank card on file. When I finished my plan, I had my card removed and went to the Kingwood, TX location that takes cash payments. Then I returned to the Baytown location for my services. They tried to get me to purchase a new plan there, and I told them why I would pay at a different location instead. The receptionist told me that they don't require a bank card to be left on file as if I wasn't there when this happened. I looked at the manager who told me that I had to leave a card on file, and she just stared straight ahead. I restated that I would pay at a different location. After reading other reviews about charges on bank cards, I see that I was wise to refuse to leave my card on file.
SCAM. Terrible place
I haven't been in to see the Dr. in a month and they charged my card without my permission. I've tried calling them, and all I get is I will look into this and give you a call back which never happens. TERRIBLE experience, and I want my money back!

I’m going with a 1-star rating. All Joints are not the same. I travel the country for work and I’m rarely in the same place for more than a week, I’ve currently come under financial strain and couldn’t figure out which Joint location i signed up at that kept charging me. I put a stop payment on it and they finally contacted me. I asked for the account that I hadn’t used in a year to be canceled. I was told that in 2024 I either need to cancel it in person in Denver, Co where I apparently signed up, even though my home is in Ga….or I need to do it in writing and apparently an email was not sufficient enough because they now want me to pay an additional month on top of the year of services I never used. I’ve grown to strongly dislike this company.
Good for general adjustment. Nothing more.
I've been using The Joint Chiropractic on and off for the past ten years. In my experience, they excel at providing general adjustments and routine chiropractic care. For a straightforward, no-frills adjustment to keep things aligned... The Joint does the job well. However, if you're seeking more specialized or intensive treatments, The Joint might not be the best fit. Their services seem to be designed for maintaining general wellness rather than addressing complex or specific issues.

i was racially overlooked because of my color , i have done buisness with this particular chiropractic place but today i guess the doctors or whatever you call them had decided that they were going to either make me wait or they wasnt going to wait on the blackman, they are known for no appointments and short wait times but these particular doctors didnt acknowledge that i exist , when there was no one waiting they waited till there was and still i didnt get seen , its location was on West End in Nashville Tenn. racism still exist , My name is James Jennings and i dont have to be anonymous because my feelings were hurt , Im also a public servant and i will share my experience because i still didnt get service

I paid for my son visit with my card at the time of his first visit. When he was finished doing his paperwork we asked that the initial monthly card to be used would be his card because at the time he did not have the money & his back was really hurting him & he needed to be seen. The doctor was ok it was less than a 8 minute ( I timed it) visit & he recommended 8 visits that I paid for in advance. Before the 8 visits were up I CALLED THEM & TALKED to them to make sure his card information was used going forward instead of mine if he wanted more visits. The 3 ladies I spoke to on 3 different occasion said it was changed. Then I started seeing charges on my card. The lady said "well we have to use the initial card that was used on the first visit". I asked for a refund because I HAD called 3 times before then to make sure my card was not charge and they assured me that it would not be that his would. No I didn't get a refund! Had to dispute the charges & cancel my card which was a inconvenience!

I had cancelled my membership last year and was told my membership was cancelled over the phone. I tried to sign up with a new contract at a different office on Friday only to realize my membership was still active in Bountiful. I was told to go to the Bountiful office to cancel my membership and get a refund for the months that I had been charged. I went to the Bountiful office today and Emma Sanchez (the wellness coordinator) had told me that she would give me a refund of 19 unused months and cancel out my membership. I asked her to get that in writing because I had been lied to by this office in the past and she said it would take her an hour to generate a written email stating that I would get a 19 month refund. She told me to leave the office and call back in an hour if I don’t see the email from her. I checked my email an hour later and she sent me an email stating that she would give me a “3 month courtesy refund” with 0 credits for the other months. Avoid the Bountiful location like the plague!
Unjust Termination of Exemplary Employee
Today, 9/18, I witnessed a serious incident involving a District Manager, James Lewis, and an employee, Autumn, at the Joint Chiropractic-Cedar Hill location. The highly unprofessional exchange between the manager and the employee was disheartening. The manager's behavior was immature, arrogant, and self-serving. Autumn, the employee is an exemplary worker who consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service.
Despite the employee's outstanding performance, the manager terminated her employment for a seemingly minor reason: a lack of online reviews. (I questioned Autumn as to why she was terminated and if there was a formal termination process in place. I was surprised to learn it was verbal). This is a cowardly and unjust termination, especially considering the employee's dedication and contributions to the company.
Furthermore, the manager's threatening behavior towards the employee after their termination is unacceptable. The exchange, in my opinion, creates a hostile work environment. But considering the lack of ethics, I doubt that the company policy, if there is one, would even deem this a serious violation. I want to emphasize that James Lewis' threatening behavior caused employee Autumn to snap back. While I understand that Autumn may have lost her composure, it's important to acknowledge that the self-absorbed manager's initial threat was unacceptable.
Given the current climate, it's fortunate that the situation did not escalate further.
I urge someone to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to address the manager's behavior and reinstate the employee.
They are liars and they stole my money
They are liars and they stole my money. I paid for 7 visits, that was the offer they sold me, they served me 4 times and they did not want to serve me again until I paid them money again because a month had passed, but they did not tell me that I had to spend my 7 visits on One month, they told me to come once a week. Why did they charge me for 7 visits then!! They are irresponsible and inconsiderate. They are not interested in the well-being of people, they are in it for the money.

This place is a horrible rip-off and a scam, claiming to be a Chiripractic Healthcare Business, that's trying to do healthcare. I've been in the healthcare business for over 36 years, while helping and assisting patients thru emergency trauma and medical care. I've seen business like this, that uses people to unprofessionally provide fake care!
They talk to the patient while using medical termology that most of the patients did not know. They then used almost the same diagnosis, checking to see how much one leg is longer than the next. BTW...everyone has one leg shorter than the other, that's common medicine of the the bone growth as a child.
I just wanted to cancel and their manager, "Allecia", at the wellington office, was so rude that she was rolling her eyes and turning her back to my wife, while trying to fix the problem. Allecia got into a heated argument with my wife, while their were patients in the waiting room. This is very, very unprofessional and horrible healthcare... It's not healthcare, its healthcare practiced by "Judas Escariot"!
Un-Responsible Adult Members..
I am a member of The Joint Chiropractic and it is a GOOD company. They have helped me with relief where other chiropractors could not. At my location they help me with relief on a weekly basis.
Also, if you're a responsible adult and stay on top of your finances and understand agreements that you sign (again, as a responsible adult) then you have no problems. I've read through at least 20 of these 1-star reviews from literally UN-RESPONSIBLE ADULTS. So please, if you are looking for affordable and reliable chiropractic care, visit The Joint Chiropractic, and if you sign up for a membership of ANY KIND - no matter the business - please make sure you understand the agreement and cancellation policy fully.
Joint Chiropractic a big scam
I went to joint Chiropractic to help with my vertigo. They couldnt help me so I cancelled the membership and they are still charging me since last 4 months. This is outrageous. How can they be so dishonest in their dealings with the customer. I am going to report this to Better Business Bureau too and take them to small claims court as well if they dont refund my money. Please be careful and dont fall for their fraudulent promotion.

Had to stop going halfway into my 2nd month per my VA Dr’s orders. Spoke with them on the phone about not billing a 3rd month but they said I had to come in and sign something? I work out of town and wasn’t able to get there for a few days. When I did go there to sign they ran my debit card for the 3rd time. This is flat out stealing. Really steamed at this BS business practice. Gonna review them every chance I get on all platforms!
