He just got on with his job

Poor service. Made arrangements on Saturday for Sunday and time and dates have changed. Arrangements agreed and then changed again. Chased many times and kept on being told someone was attending. Poor service and stay clear of them

The plumber came 2 hours late, didnt bring his tools.
Left to get them looked at the job,then went to his van to sit on the phone to his wife to arrange a flight ticket for her,that took 25minutes.
When asked to come back in,he then said he needed to go to the tube station to get the parts needed for the job!!!
When told there was a screw fix 10 minutes away, he changed his mind and said he didnt want screw fix afterall, but woukd return to his depot to collect the bath waste pipe and valve.
He then charged me £85 for the 1metre plastic pipe and £25 for the plastic valve.
Given the customer gets charged by the time......not happy.
The company were not interested in my experience, they just wanted full payment.
Im still waiting for the 2 receipts I need.
What a disappointment this company was.

It's good to see someone who knows their job and is able to complete it with no problem, cleanly and competently.

I would say search a local plumber out - They sub let the work and you are paying for them… I have a toilet that needed to be repaired ended up with a bill for £610 had no idea of what the cost was going to look like… the first time I knew about it is when the invoice landed in my inbox… You can get better deals elsewhere just google and bit more and panic less!

Don’t bother using this company. My dad had a very bad leak in his bathroom. I rang them at 9am as they said they were an emergency call out company. The plumber arrived at 5pm. My dad paid him trusting the job had been done properly, only to find out he still had leakage. After repeatedly calling this company every day and being told the plumber will be coming out today. Eventually after nearly two weeks another plumber came out and said the pipe that had been fitted was too short and that was causing the leak. I rang head office again to find out when the repairs would be done. I was told a completely different story and it was a separate issue but they wouldn’t charge my dad. Blaggers. The job wasn’t done properly in the first plece. Plumber had his money and obviously couldn’t be bothered to go back to fix the leak. Their head office said he had a family emergency. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a 97 year old man. I am now speaking with citizens advice.

Plumber went above and beyond. Happy customer.

Phone calls to say time might change (could be earlier) kept up to date with times.

They charged us £198 for doing absolutely nothing, they came to our house (charge no call out fee but charge crazy amount for everything else) noted that the leak was below the stop valve so attempted to switch off the property water supply via the stop tap- couldn’t do this and still charged us the full hour and left us with no solution.

An absolute waste of time

Whilst we acknowledge that this is out of their hands charging us this amount when not providing a solution is unfair and too pricey

Extremely disappointing after-sales service

I contacted Local plumbers on last Friday for a cistern issues and thereafter being promised a same-day plumber. Unfortunately, they were unable to attend and later rearranged the appointment for Monday.

The plumber attended on Monday and replaced the toilet cistern, for which I paid about £200. Shortly after he left, however, we noticed water leaking from the pipe underneath the toilet.

I called that evening at around 8pm but could not get through, so I assumed it may have been outside their working hours. I then sent a polite WhatsApp message, including a video clearly showing the leak, simply asking them to come back and rectify the problem.

I followed this up with a call the following day, only to discover that my number appears to have been blocked. I tried contacting them from another number and, after they seemingly realised it was me, that number also appears to have been blocked.

I find this incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I have not been abusive, unreasonable or asked for anything beyond what I paid for — I simply want the plumbing work completed properly and the leak caused or left following the repair to be addressed.

£200 is not an insignificant amount of money, and a customer should not have to chase a tradesperson after a repair, only to seemingly be deliberately avoided and blocked when reporting a problem.

I would have been perfectly happy to resolve this privately and give them the opportunity to put things right. Unfortunately, the way this has been handled has left me with very little confidence in their customer service.

A very disappointing experience.

Was a great service. Firstly the receptionist you call and discuss what is wrong was very nice and explained their pricing system very well and he got it booked in for 2 hours after i called.

The plumber came on time and before that called to let us know he was coming. When he came he listened to what was wrong and fixed the problem within an hour. Was very impressed and he was a lovely guy.

Highly recommend when your in a tight spot

They took my money which was £200 and just left the property without carry out any work at all, they said nothing they could do about it, basically i feel robbed by this company, do not use them.

The plumber attended earlier than the appointment time (very good), he was very friendly and polite and did the repair to my complete satisfaction. Highly recommend this company.

The engineer turned up very quickly. He was personable and professional and carried out the work efficiently and effectively. I am very pleased with the work done.

Everything was explained on initial phone call regarding costing, plumber arrived as agreed and also explained what needed to be done and the full cost of work carried out, acted professionally and being able to pay by card is much better than cash.
