Using the portal is very easy and the best way to keep in contact ask any questions, they reply quickly.
The estate agent was very impressed too.

The thoroughness in checking all the minutiae of leases etc was good. However we instructed The Partnership on the purchase of a garage on 08-Aug-25 and completion was only achieved on 14-Jan-26. I cannot understand why it took 5 months. It caused us a lot of trouble with the seller who exceedingly frustrated because he was told by his solicitor that it could happen week commencing 17-Nov-25.

Digital portal was very easy to use, and provided a lot of what we needed.

Communication was very poor and not at all proactive and needed constant chasing to get updates, right up to completion day.

The legal team have done an excellent job. They are very responsive, the combination of their technology and professionalism means that the whole legal buying and selling process has gone very smoothly. The current status is readily and easily available, with online and secure access to all of the documents.

We have used this company many times in the past, but won’t be doing so again.

Communications were poor. Mostly limited to a once a week, three line email.

Numerous deadlines were missed, some through in an inability to negotiate with other parties and some due to our solicitors lack of knowledge of their own company processes and availability.

We were informed of delayed exchange and completion on the day of completion, only after we had chased.

On numerous times we were told dates had been agreed, only to find out later they had been moved.

Not a smooth process, and did not feel like anyone was ‘in our corner’ so to speak.

I wanted to write a review about the handling of our sale. You were actually employed by our buyers. Our solicitor had everything ready after 3 months. Jade from this company took from 6th may to the end of November to complete on a simple one bed flat. She continually asked the same questions.At one point saying we were to complete in August it actually completed in November causing us to pay out extra mortgage payments on our property and even at the end was asking for proof of payments sent in July but because it had taken so long she asked again.
The modus opperandi seemed to be ask for information on a Friday evening and not reply till the end of the following week.
A total nightmare. Be very wary.

Having to use a non-user friendly portal that has many bugs. Virtually no explanations on how to use the portal. Uninformative reports. Most expensive solicitors in the area based on initial quotes. If it wasn't for the intervention of Faisal (thank you) giving regular detailed updates and guidance after I raised my concerns I would have moved to another company.
