The quality of the furniture was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful. Delivery was 2 weeks in advance of estimated date. The delivery was efficient, again the staff were really helpful

The sofa fits perfectly in our little living room making our house far more homely and it is just the best addition to the room. The delivery was scheduled perfectly to fit our schedule which we greatly appreciated as we all work full time and the men were so helpful and put everything together seamlessly. Such a great experience and will definitely purchase from place for homes again!!

Excellent customer care
Ordered a sofa, arrived with a slightly problem with one of the supporting legs. Contacted customer care, and Huw has been very proactive at sorting out the problem. So far I have been really pleased with the purchase experience and the customer support I have received from Huw. Definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

We always try and provide excellent service to all our customers, so it’s disappointing to hear that we didn’t meet your expectations this time, especially after you gave us a 5 star rating just a month ago.
We’d like to clarify that the delay was caused because the original carpet fitting appointment was cancelled at your request. We tried to get in touch with the carpet fitter to reschedule, but unfortunately, they are very busy, and finding a new date quickly was not possible. We understand that this added to the frustration, and we apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

Wonderful " old fashioned " personal service !!
I contacted Place for Homes ( PFH )after I was badly let down by another supplier. I ordered a carpet /large rug from PFH and sadly when it arrived from the 3rd party supplier it was damaged . Unfortunately the item was then out of stock awaiting further supplies from abroad but I decided to wait for the new stock as I particularly liked the carpet in question and PFH had been briliant over the whole episode. The carpet duly arrived six weeks later and all was well. I dealt with Huw who was a delight to do business with so much so that I have just taken delivery of a further carpet today from PFH . I only ordered it yesterday so that was a real triumph !! I feel I also have to mention the delivery driver who happened to be the same on each visit I live on the 4th floor of an Apartment block ( with lift ) and he brought it up without having to be asked, many deliveries are just dumped in the Reception area. He was very cheerful polite & helpful. 5* to him too. All in all a very positive experience and I will not hesitate to go back to PFH.

It was delivered without fuss and put together and all the rubbish was taken away.

Well made hallway bench
Well made hallway bench, just what I wanted. Arrived very well packed, the only small gripe, is getting the plastic covering off the cushion which protected it, had to unscrew some screws as the plastic covering was screwed in place. Lovely piece of furniture though.
